Just thought about this:

The woman who just met him may be attempting to slow poison him so they could create 'Pakistan killed a captured American' fuss and turn the table around to Pakistan

If the Goverment is playing with the public and had been intending to return davis ...after a little drama... then he wont be killed in the Pakistani prison.

Raymond Davis saga: US warns of moving International Court

Western newspapers reveal they knew that Davis was employed by the American spy agency, the CIA.

ISLAMABAD: US officials have indirectly warned that their country could approach the International Court of Justice (ICJ), if the spat over their consular employee Raymond Davis, is not resolved in accordance with the Vienna Convention.
In a related development, Western newspapers have revealed that they knew that Davis, who is facing double murder charges, was employed by the American spy agency, the Central Intelligence Agency, but the information had been withheld on the request of the US administration. However, US diplomatic officials on Wednesday continued to insist that Davis was a member of the technical and administrative staff of their mission in Pakistan and hence immune from criminal prosecution.
Davis, who is currently on judicial remand in Kot Lakhpat Jail, was arrested after he allegedly shot dead two Pakistanis at a busy bus stop in Lahore on January 27. US officials claim that the killings resulted from a botched robbery attempt.
US diplomatic officials told The Express Tribune on condition of anonymity that if Pakistan did not honour the Vienna conventions, the US could move the ICJ. They added that the ICJ rulings are mandatory for all signatories to the Vienna Convention.
The US officials said that the Pakistan government could declare any diplomat persona non grata and ask him to pack up and go, but it could not try any diplomat in any case.
They ruled out the criminal prosecution of Davis who, according to them, enjoys blanket immunity. They hinted that Daviss CIA links had no bearing on his diplomatic immunity because, according to them, anybody could be appointed as a diplomat by a country.
The US officials also claimed that it was not necessary for a diplomat to acquire his/her diplomatic card from the host country.
However, a top foreign ministry official contradicted the claim and termed it bizarre. Its mandatory for diplomats to get their diplomatic cards and other necessary documents from the foreign ministry after landing in a host country, the official told The Express Tribune.
US officials claimed that the US Embassy in Islamabad had declared Daviss diplomatic status on January 20. But senior officials in the Foreign Office say that they had not received any intimation from the US mission in this regard before the Lahore shooting.
The US Embassy has allegedly been pressuring the Foreign Office to forge the records and backdate Davis diplomatic status.
Former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had also corroborated these allegations on the floor of the National Assembly on Tuesday. He told lawmakers that he had refused the foreign ministry because he feared the government would force him to forge documents to prove Daviss diplomatic status.
On Wednesday, the US official renewed the demand for the unconditional and early release of Davis. US Senator John Kerry, on a recent trip to Pakistan, had promised a thorough investigation by the US Justice Department if Davis was released by Pakistani authorities.
Qureshi advised the US not to publicly demand diplomatic immunity for Davis. Qureshi recalled that he had refused diplomatic immunity to Davis despite US pressure and had instead made it clear to the Americans that the matter was sensitive which could have far-reaching repercussions.
If asked, I will appear before the Lahore High Court to share my views on the issue which is that Davis does not have blanket immunity, Qureshi told a gathering at the Rawalpindi district bar on Wednesday. (With additional reporting by OBAID ABABSI in Rawalpindi)

Raymond Davis case: Victim's family attacked

Unidentified men fed poisonous pills to Sarwar (centre) and physically assaulted him.

LAHORE: Unidentified people attempted to kill the uncle of Shumaila, the widow who poisoned herself after her husband Faheem was gunned down by US citizen Raymond Davis on Thursday . Shumaila’s uncle Sarwar has been admitted to hospital in critical condition.
According to eye witnesses, three unidentified men jumped over the walls of Sarwar’s house and hit him on the head repeatedly with stones. They also forcefully made him eat pesticide pills.
Neighbours intervened after hearing the noise, but the assailants fled after assaulting the neighbours. Allied Hospital MS Dr Rana Bashir has confirmed that Sarwar’s stomach had been washed and he is now out of danger.
Sarwar’s brother told Express News that some people had threatened Sarwar to withdraw from the Raymond Davis case or they would kill him. He appealed to the Punjab chief minister to provide the family justice. RPO Aftab Cheema said action would be taken against the culprits after investigation.
Pressure on both sides
According to an earlier report in The Express Tribune, the families of the two people allegedly murdered by Raymond Davis are coming under pressure from politicians and religious groups not to strike any deals that would allow for Davis’ release.
Waseem Shamshad, elder brother of Faheem, one of the young men killed, told The Express Tribune that the families are coming under conflicting pressures. He claimed that on one hand the government is pressuring the victims’ families to withdraw the case against Davis, while several religious and political groups were pressuring them not to accept any deal that would allow Davis to walk free.(http://tribune.com.pk/story/123309/raymond-davis-case-victims-family-attacked/)

Did Davis double-cross US as recruitment point man for Taliban?

American official Raymond Davis, arrested for double murder, had "close links" with Taliban and was "instrumental" in recruiting youths for it, the media here claimed on Tuesday, close on the heels of reports in the US that he was a CIA agent tracking movements of terror groups like LeT.

The "close ties" of 37-year-old Davis, arrested in Lahore on January 27 for killing two men he claimed were trying to rob him, with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan came out during investigations, 'The Express Tribune' reported quoting an unnamed senior official of Punjab Police. "Davis was instrumental in recruiting young people from Punjab for the Taliban to fuel the bloody insurgency (in Pakistan)," the official said.

The report came a day after The NYT, citing US government officials , said that Davis "was part of a covert, CIA-led team of operatives conducting surveillance on militant groups deep inside the country."

Among the groups that Davis was keeping an eye on was the banned LeT, which carried out the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, the NYT said.

Meanwhile, a Pakistani court accepted the government's request to hold the trial of Davis in the heavilyguarded Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore , where he is currently lodged, for security reasons.

The Obama administration on Monday insisted that he still has diplomatic immunity under international law and Pakistan should release him forthwith . Soon after, the US state department wheeled out one of its "foremost experts in international law" to make the case that regardless of Davis' reported affiliation, he was entitled to diplomatic immunity because the US had clearly intimated to Pakistani government that he is a member of the administrative and technical staff under Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Sources also said that Pakistan had been told he is an intelligence operative working undercover.

THE CURIOUS CASE OF RAYMOND DAVIS
Pakistan & US are at loggerheads over the arrest of Davis, who is facing trial for gunning down two men in Lahore. The two sides differ on diplomatic immunity for Davis. Other disputed points in the case:

THE SHOOTING
Cops say Davis fired at the two motorcycle-borne men when they tried to stop his car; the duo were ostensibly chasing him after his vehicle bumped a rickshaw US says Davis believed his life was in danger after one of the men 'cocked his pistol and pointed towards' him

SELF-DEFENCE
Davis and US say he acted in self-defence after the two men tried to rob him at gunpoint
Punjab law minister says the weapon carried by one of the victims wasn't loaded and thus Davis can't claim selfdefence ; Lahore top cops says Davis fired at one of the men as they were fleeing

THE VICTIMS
Davis and US say the two men were robbers Pak media & politicians dismiss suggestions that the duo were ISI operatives and term them 'innocent youths' with no criminal record

Re: Raymond Davis breaks into tears - Apparently CIA has abandoned their spy & may try to murder him in Jail

It was perhaps for the first time since his arrest for the gory crime he committed that Raymond Allen Davis broke into tears after USZ Consul General in Lahore, Carmella Conroy, visited him in jail, it is learnt. He (Davis) was seen sobbing on Sunday after Carmella left the jail. He talked to his family on Carmellas cell phone, insiders said. The American killer was visibly tense in the first indication that he has started to realise the chances of getting away with the dual murder, despite huffing and puffing at the highest level, are getting thin by the day, sources said. He seems to have realised the new situation as his cover has been blown.
Raymond Allen Davis, the apparently abandoned spy of CIA who murdered 2 innocent Pakistanis

In line with the discovery that he is the CIAs acting chief in Pakistan, Davis security has been augmented manifold to avert possible life threat to him from the very agency he served (the CIA). The Rangers deployed to protect him have been armed with light machine guns (LMGs), sources said. Regarding Davis earlier luxuries, the lady who visited him on Valentines nights, it can now be confirmed is not his spouse, but a Consulate employee. She visited him again on Monday, sources said. The Rangers, equipped with LMGs, have been deputed on a water tank of the jail in addition to the main gate. Monday also saw the drop scene of the drama that started with the slapping of a jail official by the USZ killer. The recipient, Assistant Superintendent Jail Nasir Nawaz, was removed from Davis security, fearing he may have held vendetta against Davis.

Re: Pakistan's intelligence ready to split with CIA

Splitting is not the answer, Because smart Nations and smart people keep friends close and enemies closer. It is necessary that we Make friends with U.S. being the most powerful country in this world by being friends we can achieve more than by being enemies.

But to achieve more we have to have negotiation skills to get more from them, ?so friendship is more beneficial for Pakistan than enmity, and in friendship we can always ask and may get what we want but in enmity nothing will be negotiated and lots of people will get killed.

This my two cents worth for peace, integrity and justice to prevail.

Davis Case: Shumaila’s uncle poisoned in Lahore

Updated at 0800 PST Thursday, February 24, 2011

LAHORE: Some unidentified outlaws have fed poisonous bills to the paternal uncle of Shumaila, the widow of Faheem, who was crushed to death in Lahore in Raymond Davis double murder case, Geo News reported early Thursday.

The discussed family also claimed to have received life-threats a week ago for following lawsuit against Raymond Davis, sources said.

According to details, some unknown gunmen broke into house of Shumaila’s uncle Mohammed Sarwar and forcefully fed him poisonous pills besides brutally torturing the victim.

Later, the intruders succeeded to flee the crime scene while the victim, Mohammed Sarwar, was rushed to hospital in critical condition, sources said quoting hospital sources.

Meanwhile, the area SSP Sadiq Fogar claimed that their home is under police’s constant observation.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Faheem’s widow committed suicide at hospital in protest against unlawful act happened to her family and laziness of government in handing US suspect punishment. She also demanded justice of Pakistan government before suicide via television footages. (http://www.thenews.com.pk/NewsDetail.aspx?ID=11653)

Now it is clear US removed Musharraf as he was not allowing CIA operatives with free hand within Pakistan

After today's Kamran Khan show it is clear US wanted to remove Musharraf and bring in PPP and also threatened Musharraf that if PML(Q) wins US wont accept the results.

Now Paksitani govt without a nod from ISI allowed americans to come inside pakistan which Musharraf was resisting through out and it annoyed the US.

It explains why sudden after musharraf suicide bombings increased; drone strike increased. When he was in power the numbers were very low and controlled such that the elections were held without a single incident.

Long Live Quaid-e-Pakistan and we pray that he leads us again with the same wisdom.

"after musharraf suicide bombings increased; drone strike increased"
It doesnt prove Musharraf was a patriot who refused to do anything against Pakistan's interest, it just shows that he was a "chota beghairat" compared to Zardari. Besides, the public wanted to see a change of faces and Americans gave them that. Its just like a beta version and a release version of a software, the beta version does the same thing but with some reduced functionality and bugs.

Stop trying to prove Musharraf was a true patriot who never did anything against Pakistan's interest, he gave bases to America and he sold Pakistani nationals to America etc etc.

Firstly name "Pervaiz" is disliked name in Islam.
Secondly, its Musharaf who bowed down to Bush asking him to take Musharaff as they like even if it was taking off his trousers.
Musharaf allowed space and base for drone attacks from pak soil.
Musharaf allowed US criminal and terrorists on pakistani soil.
Musharaf is war criminal and must be stonned to death
