Nine zero phones disconnected: MQM

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee member Anis Advocate has claimed that all the landline telephones had been disconnected, Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News, Anis Advocate said that Coordination Committee was closely monitoring the overall situation.
He claimed that Pakistan People’s Party was planning to take over the MQM Headquarter and warned PPP of serious consequences.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah brushed aside the MQM claims, saying there was no substance in such claims.
Talking to mediamen, he said efforts were afoot to persuade MQM to rejoin the government.
