It proves the fact that, Islam is not in their agenda at all. they have other motives. otherwise they would be worshiping on this 27th night rather than attack on the airbase. and We say all the time that they are Islamist or fundamentalists.

by the way how did you assume that these terrorists are from talibans or even muslims!!! you raised a great point that if they are fundamental or even ordinary Muslims they must be busy in prayers and sahri as after all its 27th Ramdan.... no muslim can kill innocent people on this special night... I hope you remember R.Davis group etc....

Its TTP for sure..Thats done inentionally to build pressure on Pak army to do north waziristan operation..

I feel pity for the 10 lakh innocent ppl of tribal area..They are sick of both Drone Attacks and TTP...

This is really sad. How they get into the air base? Security warnings were issued earlier.

This is what happened when the top officials sit in the air conditioned rooms and security is left to poor Gate Keepers.

Search on youtube and you will find many videos where TV anchors exposed the zero security of major installations of Pakistan. Buy an army uniform and jeep having slogans of army and you are well set to attach any army installation. See this on youtube. One program is Sar e Aam where they able to go with Prime Minister convey.

Zero security on railway stations, zero security on Air Ports and else where.

These installations are assets of Pakistani Nation and not particular to any department.

Its possible....Kiyani speech also was unusual and hinted towards Army position.(Last year speech was in English and vauge). Also the Americans loved the speech.

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta's revelation that Pakistan is readying itself for the long-awaited offensive in North Waziristan has again revived the controversy. America really wants a breakthrough before Obama elections (Nov). In there thinking putting PakArmy in a collision course with Haqqani is the way to achieve this. This is also old thinking in US gov.

The influencial Neocon Zalmay Khalilzad and his wife Cheryl Bernanrd at RAND since ten years has been advocating this position. Its a popular idea in Washington planners. Pakistan has to take "Owner ship of the War in Afghnaistan". This way it will be weak, more dependent and not able to interfere in Afghanistan. Thats why action agasint Haqqani is key. Even though the insurgency is centered around Kandahar and Helmand very far from S.waziristan. But once Haqqani and Taliban are attacked a civil war will insue.
Contrary to popular belief many so called Pakistani Talian are still not agaisnt Pakistnai state , around 20% are fighting against the state.
By any analysis Pakistan Army will be haemorrhaged in a long lasting insurgency. Pakistan state will remain weak , divided and less of a nuisance to India, which is Americas long term ally now in the region.

All terrorists have been killed and also our 3 have been shaheed and 4 injured.

PAF handled better than Mehran base Naval folks. But I do wish they had caught all or at least one alive to seek their leaders and other info....

Pak forces should have surround them and wait them out by shutting off water and all other supplies and smoke them out alive then treat them nice and be friendly making it easy to get their hideouts and leader's name n group.

they were wearing suicide vests so the only way to treat them nicely and friendly was to put a bullet through their head so they don't blow themselves to smithereens.
