Reading your post makes me think that you would have blamed Mandela for breaking the rules of the apartheid regime of South Africa and would have justified putting Mandela behind bars or defended
the Colonial British for going after Gandhi or Marwan' Barghouti's imprisonment by the Israelis. Just because these regimes had their own
draconian laws and put people behind bars for breaking them.

Full disclosure: I hate Zaid Hamid's guts and can't find another guy whose views I disagree with more but this is the time that we drop our biases and stand for principles for once and show that just because we get handouts from the Saudis that we don't bend over backwards and defend all of their stupid actions.
