Ok corono kill 2 to 3%. Assume Pakistan has population of 200 million. 2.5% would be 5 million people... Imagine 5 million only deaths and 10 million who get only critically ill. Hospitals having no capacity to accommodate people and angry mobs doing anarchy and finally people breaking lockup, government forces try to control and here you go. Full anarchy. People start looting. No rule on streets and government non existent. Enemy finds it ideal time to strike!! Bro it's better this way.. I fully agree with your general argument but your estimate is not quite right. More than half of Pakistan population is young.

Bro maybe I failed explaining it right. You are saying that we are mostly young and youth make major part of population. So we open everything? Life goes normal til we get herd immunity? This 2.5% is because of lock down, if you are exposing everyone and not practicing social distancing then this percentage would over 5% at least. Just considering older population. Now we are one of the nation's leading in diabetes chance add 2% more, people with bad lungs or respiratory problems now add 5% more of youth doing smoking in early age. Pollution? Add 2% more..
Seriously a quarter of population will be lost easily if we won't do what we are doing now.
