America will never attack on Pakistan because America is Pakistan's friend. Americans have been giving aid to Pakistan since 1947. America is one of the top 3 friends of Pakistan.

1. China
2. United states of America
3. Saudi Arabia
4. Turkey

The world is a "global village" and America wants to be the "global wadaira", i think America should stop being the 'thekedaar' of the world.

First they plant the seeds of a problem, when it starts growing they come to uproot it and plant new seeds:
They back Taliban, and after a few decades they say its enough, setup Qarzai puppet show.
They back Musharraf, and after 8 years they say its enough, setup Zardari puppet show.
They back Qaddafi, and after 3 decades they say its enough, setup "XYZ" puppet show.
Can someone explain why Prabhumust doesnt like this comment? Only an American agent would have a problem with this...

Sent to crush protesters, Gaddafi's son joins them

Tehran, Feb 25 (IANS) The youngest son of Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi joined the anti-government protesters amid continued demonstrations against the embattled leader, IRNA news agency reported Friday.

Saif al-Arab, who was sent by his father to help the Libyan security forces with the widespread crackdown on pro-democracy agitators in the eastern parts of Libya, joined the demonstrators in the eastern city of Benghazi Thursday.

Pro-democracy demonstrations inspired by the successful revolutions that deposed decades-long rulers in neighbouring Tunisia and Egypt have engulfed Libya since Feb 14.

Saif al-Arab, who is widely regarded as the most low-profile of Gaddafi's sons, has also hinted that his father would commit suicide or flee to Latin America in the face of rising public outcry over his tyrannical rule, Iran's Press TV reported.

Saif al-Arab is said to have had the backing of combat troops and had military equipment that was dispatched to the eastern parts of the country.

The move comes as many intelligence and military officials in the third largest city, Al Bayda, have stepped down, while a major general in the eastern city of Tobruk has castigated Gaddafi's regime for its heavy-handed assault on protesters.

Major General Suleiman Mahmoud, the commander of the armed forces in Tobruk, has stated that he has resigned and has now sided with protesters, adding that soldiers and civilians are being fired upon from aircraft, and this was an important reason for him to join the people.

At least 1,000 people have been killed in Tripoli in airstrikes conducted by the Libyan military in a desperate move to crush the growing protests, according to some reports.

Meanwhile, a total of 130 Libyan soldiers have been executed for refusing to open fire on protesters, Press TV said.

Tens of thousands of people have continued to take to the streets of Benghazi and other major cities calling for the ouster of the 68-year-old leader.

Gaddafi, who came to power 41 years ago in a bloodless military coup, Tuesday vowed to fight on to his 'last drop of blood' and called on his supporters to confront the protesters.

U.S. is considering military options against Libya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Translated with Google traslate: German-> English

Washington (dpa) - The U.S. is considering military actions against Libya If Muammar al-Gaddafi should continue the bloody violence against its own people.

The financial sanctions that U.S. President Barack Obama had imposed on Friday were just the first in a series of steps, "which could include a military option, "reports the Washington Post, citing high U.S. government officials.

This included enforcing a no-fly zone over Libya in order to prevent a bombing of Qaddafi's opponents in the air. However, there are doubts within the U.S. government, whether for such measures can find the broad international support, given the expected resistance from China, they said.

Obama has already directed the U.S. intelligence agencies to host spy satellites and other surveillance equipment to Libya, reported the Washington Post ". "The message to Gaddafi, " We're watching you, "said a government official..

The report said the Obama administration first stopped drastic steps against the regime for fear of kidnapping, in Tripoli. U.S. diplomats in Libya had before "determine messages" from Washington warned not to jeopardize compatriots in the North African country crisis. "to ignore such warnings would be very difficult and dangerous, " said Ben Rhodes of the National Security Council of the newspaper. Obama had imposed financial sanctions on Friday after the last Americans were flown to safety.

Questions:

Why US and all western countries are supporting Libyen Revolution? Why they have supported Egypt Revolution?

There is something wrong in it. They have never puted so fast sanctions on a country before and within days the are planing Military attacks. German Foreign Minister visited Egypt to see the things. What is going on?

What do you think?

All sane individuals think similar and there is no confusion in their mind that America is bent upon repeating past doctrine and practices like Iraq before invading Libya with support of hand picked Security Council Members who instantly convene an URGENT Session on demand to impose Sanctions and get an instant mandate for saving the innocent being massacred (In Iraq, Libya or another targeted location). Muammar al-Gaddafi has become irksome for USA since Ronald Reagans Era for defiant stand to fight with vigor (Defending the Motherland) without any thought that the weapons being used by America are Conventional or Nuke. Allegations like the use of Weapons of Mass Destruction are nothing new. Allegation that Muammar al-Gaddafi is using poisonous gas against the innocents in Libya is similar to what George Walker Bush Administration leveled against Sadam Hussain in Iraq. Libyan Oil Revenue kept in First American Bank and in other Foreign Banks was seized instantly in 1982 on a vague excuse and had never been released afterwards! Libyan Government survived against all odds for a span of 40 consecutive years by dealing in Barter Trade with many countries that traded with Libya on Oil basis. Its a PhD subject and can not be explained in a short and comprehensive statement! Better watch what comes OUT of the Blue!

Obama is planning on the same footing as we have Asma Jahangeer / Jillani, in SC.

I think Qazafi will leave before that. It will be more worst like Iraq and Sadam's end.

Pressure mounts as Qadhafi loses west Libya towns

NALUT: Pressure mounted Monday on Libyan leader Moamer Qadhafi as anti-regime forces overran towns in his traditional western stronghold, after world leaders called on him to end his 41-year rule.

As top international diplomats gathered in Geneva for a meeting over the crisis, there were increasing signs the Libyan strongmans grip on power was slipping even further.

Protest leaders on Sunday established a transitional national council in several eastern and western cities seized from the Qadhafi regime and called on the army to help them take the capital Tripoli.

The United States said it was prepared to offer any kind of assistance to Libyans seeking to overthrow Qadhafi as his opponents piece together a transitional body comprising representatives from the liberated cities.

The unrest in the oil-rich North African state has set off a humanitarian emergency, the UN refugee agency UNHCR said, as almost 100,000 migrant workers fled Libya in a mass exodus.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton echoed the calls of world leaders, including President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron, for him to quit.

We are just at the beginning of what will follow Qadhafi, she said.

First we have to see the end of his regime and with no further bloodshed, she said, noting Washington was eager for his ouster as soon as possible.

We want him to leave.

Speaking ahead of the UN Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva, Clinton said she would meet many of her counterparts to craft humanitarian and political responses as Libyans try to organise themselves post-Qadhafi.

At the weekend, the UN Security Council imposed a travel and assets ban on Qadhafis regime and ordered a probe into possible crimes against humanity after at least 1,000 people were killed in a crackdown by his forces.

London said it had frozen Qadhafi family assets in Britain, amid newspaper reports these amount to about 20 billion pounds in liquid assets, mostly in London.

Australia is investigating claims Qadhafis family has stashed millions of dollars in assets down under, Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd said Monday. Canberra has launched a forensic probe to track down any assets the crumbling regime may have secretly built up in Australia.

A community organiser, Abdel Hafiz Ghoqa, told reporters in Benghazi on Sunday that a transitional national council had been set up in cities seized from the regime.

The creation of a national council has been announced in all freed cities of Libya, he said.

The council is the face of Libya in the transitional period, he said, adding consultations were under way on the bodys composition and duties.

The people of Libya will liberate their cities, Ghoqa said. We are counting on the army to liberate Tripoli.

On Saturday, former justice minister Mustafa Abdel Jalil, who quit Qadhafis regime on February 21, said a transitional government would lead Libya for three months, before an election.

In neighbouring Egypt, visiting US senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman urged Washington to recognise a transitional government in Libya and provide it with weapons and humanitarian assistance to oust Qadhafi.

On Sunday, the strongman dismissed the UN sanctions as invalid and said calm had returned to Libya as the territories held by the opposition were surrounded.

In his telephone statement to Serbian television, he said: Libya is completely quiet. There is nothing unusual. There is no unrest.

Of the territory held by the opposition, Qadhafi said: There is a small group (of opponents) that is surrounded, but we will sort that out.

But his crumbling regime now controls only some western areas around the capital and a few long-time bastions in the arid south, reporters and witnesses say.

An AFP reporter arriving in Nalut, a town of 66,000 people, 235 kilometres west of Tripoli, found Qadhafi loyalists had entirely disappeared.

The city has been liberated since February 19. It has been run by a revolutionary committee named by the towns communities, Shaban Abu Sitta, a local lawyer and member of a revolutionary committee, told AFP.

The towns of Rhibat, Kabaw, Jado, Rogban, Zentan, Yefren, Kekla, Gherien and Hawamed have also been free for days. In all these towns, Qadhafis forces have gone and a revolutionary committee put in place, he said.

Regime opponents appeared to control the city of Az-Zawiyah, 50 kilometres west of the capital, where thousands took to the streets to denounce the teetering leader in front of invited journalists.

The journalists were welcomed by thousands of demonstrators, shouting Down with the regime, we want freedom. Some were armed and fired into the air.

No Libyan security services were visible, but Az-Zawiyah saw clashes between regime supporters and opponents last Thursday, in which a human rights group said more than 35 people were killed.
