Dear Veila Mast, thanks for letting me know but I thought Mawdoodi sahib was also contraverisal. So were mawlanas from deoband and roy breily eg ahmed raza khan sahib and ashraf ali thanvi sahib etc. Dr israr ahmed is as contraversial as dr tahir qadri and dr adeel or dr zakir, so I do not think anyone really has monopoly over contraversy.

The idea is to take whatever is sensible from anyone and reject what seems unreasonable but being knowledgeable is must to be able to know the issue for oneself.

Could you explain it further, I mean who issued fatwa against whom.

Secondly, there may difference in opinion but Fatwa e Kufr against someone is serious matter.

No doubt in it and it is THE ONLY GUIDE. Everything needs to be screened
through it.
Quran survival of Believers, Salvation of Mankind and solution of all Problems. Rest
all will create more firqas, more division and more anarchy.

word "deen" which he is explaining as "Judging".
