Patients dying ...Who is culprit?

Remember after 10pm, 1 july its Govt responsibilty as they have terminated doctors and doctors are not responsbile...Now please tell me a single death till 10pm ,1 july with reference which occured in 14 days ??

Its all media propaganda on behalf of punjab govt. and it is selling. We need to rethink where things go wrong. They are not asking for money. I am a professional I can understand that if I don't have a career path I will end up with a simple graduation.

Young doctors have few good points. But this time the wind is blowing in wrong direction. Last time they 'conquered' and put govt on defense. This time they have no sympathies from general public although I think their demand are not extra ordinary.
Doctors should not call themselves "Maseeha" or not go on strike. Also doctors forget that "gareeb qoum k billions" are spent on them to provide them with subsidized study of MBBS. 48 thousand rupees is not great income but they should realize that they are in a country where 70 % people don't have basic necessities of life.

Janabewala lets talk about the real issue

YDA says doctors should be inducted directly into grade 18 (because CSPs are also inducted at grade 18)
YDA says doctors should have the same Perks as CSPs

Now everyone should know that ANY doctor can apply and appear in CSP (Civil Service of Pakistan) and get the same benefits as any CSP officer. What doctors want is that they should get all CSP facilities without going through any competitive exams. Thus tomorow teachers might go to strike and demand they want same perks as CSS or Pakistan Dak may go to strike and want same structure as foreign services. This is so dumb and insane that I don't understand how even the most vocal apologists for YDA support it.

Hum tau Police kay under kaam nai karain gey,baishak yeh nikal dain aur jisay rakhna hai rakh lain..Allah ka shukar hai i'm FCPS and MRCS so i can easily get jobs anywhere else ...Par khuda ka wasta hai jo aaj mar rahay hain unka nlame hum pay kyun?

I challenge media ppl kay yeh deceased logon kay death certificates pay likha time batain...Agar in sab pay time Police Control kay baad ka hai tau Drs ka kia qasoor?

To Bhai aapke khayal mai jo log emergency mai aatay hain sirf unko hi urgent treatment ki zarorat hoti hai? Ye to sirf media per hai ke 8 10 log faut hue hain asal tadaad shayad ziada ho. Agar aap opd's mai waqt per ilaaj kartay to shayad emergency ki nobat hi na aati ALLAH ki lathi be Awaz hoti hai chahe CM hai chaahe doctor aik na aik din zaror parhegee INSHAALLAH Ahtajaj har kisi ka haq hai lekin strike ke naam pe kisi ki Jaan lene ka kisi ko haq nahi

The right demands of Doctors have gone down the hill due to emotionally charged young doctors. Instead of giving arguments, why do not tell public about professional structure as any other government structure demanded by you guys.

When doctors will target general public in their tussle with Govt., then there will be no one supporting Doctors.

Doctors, you guys need a good Public Relation Officer, not Hot headed YDA goons. I second your demand for professional structure for all doctors, and condemn YDA and Pubjab Govt's hot headedness.

As always I think I'm not against the strike but like barca suggested and amny others before that doctors need to ease off a bit as well, that means don't go too hard on strike.

why not do strike for 1 or 2 days a week (preferably one day), and make it well planned, it will I think still disturb govt system, that way not only emergency people but all other serious patients who need regular help will get treated, and you can still be pain in *** for government!

I do believe that problem is not created by doctors but doctors should be extra helpful in this regard given the sensitivity of the issue.
I would not say call off the strike, They shouldn't!

Why did they become doctors in the first place?

ان جاہلوں کو اتنا بھی نہیں احساس کہ یہ کوئی ٹرک ڈرائیور کی ہرتال نہیں ، جیسے انہوں نے ہرتال کی ہے اس سے صرف اور صرف غریب پاکستانیوں کو تکلیف ہوئی ہے ، امیر لوگ تو ہمیشہ پرائیوٹ ہسپتال جاتے ہیں ، اگر یہ لوگ غصے میں آکر شوباز کو اسکے خیمے میں جلا دیتے تب بھی عوام انکا ساتھ دیتی ،مگر انہوں نے حکمرانوں کی ترھا غریب عوام کو ہی نشانہ بنایا ہے

Bhai I do not know you but I am assuming you are one of these Young Doctors who is involved in this crises

On that assumption I would say three things to you guys

This is about hearts and minds, you guys could do your selves a huge favour by returning to work, without conceding anything and refusing to negotiate with Tind Younger. Put everything off for a year, there will be a new Government by then

Your conflict with Punjab Gov as done them far more harm than you. Going back to work, through negotiations would show that the CM has somehow pulled it off and he will make out that he did it his way, without conceding anything to you, instead make him look stupid by returning to work, without conceding anything and leaving everything for another day.

I heard Doctors in other parts of Pak are now taking action in support of you guys, that is good, but they also have a practical solution, they are treating people in camps outside the hospitals. Why do you guys not do something similar outside every hospital in Punjab. Free of charge. That would take you guys to another level

Finally I have a nephew who is a doc, not in Pakistan, I cannot imagine him refusing to treat anyone anywhere because of some argument on terms and conditions. It is not in his nature, and the person could be his worst enemy. Its what you doctors do, so do it.
