Judge admits to taking bribe in Axact fake degree case

ISLAMABAD: A district and sessions judge confessed to taking bribe amounting to Rs 5,000,000 in the Axact fake degree case and acquitting Shoaib Sheikh in return, according to a show-cause notice issued.

As per the show-cause notice, judge Pervaiz-ul-Qadir Memon of the District and Sessions Court admitted to taking a bribe of Rs. 5,000,000 from Axact CEO Shoaib Sheikh and acquitting him in return. This allegedly took place in the Axact fake degree case.

The show-cause notice further mentioned that Pervaiz-ul-Qadir admitted to taking the bribe in front of the Promotion Committee. However, Pervaiz-ul-Qadir has now denied the allegations and challenged the show-cause notice in the Islamabad High Court.

Hearing of the case will be conducted tomorrow at the Islamabad High Court. Proceedings will be heard by Justice Aamir Farooq.

Pervaiz-ul-Qadir has been suspended and a response has been sought from him in 14 days.

Its not happened first time he is the first one who admit about bribes there are thousands judges who takes bribes for themselves and some time getting out of merit foreign scholarships for their kids,visa,special professional colleges seats for their kids by declaring favourable decision ,but the problem in our country no one catch them

Conspiracy against Axact due to phenomenal seize of market share by BOL

In a matter of just few months' time, BOL has become a household name because of its creative content and vibrant theme. Although BOL is striving to show a positive image of our country to the World, the big media players of the same country have not felt ashamed to defame BOL and to force it step down the race of competition. What's worse is that they are not just blaming a TV channel guilty of charges, but are also trying to prove the judiciary wrong which has issued its verdict of stating Axact/BOL not guilty of false charges.

These channels/media groups must inspire positively and must acknowledge the healthy competition by improving their product instead of pulling back the winner of the industry. Business is not a game of Hearts where the winner is the one to be targeted so that the rest of the players could end up with lower differences.
