Pakistani minorities traditionally supported PPP for its secular agenda.
In Karachi, they have been slowly drifting toward MQM. Go to any Christian neighborhood and you will find MQM support there. This is because MQM's commitment to the principle of secularism (I'm not debating if that principle is right or wrong).
MQM wants parity for minorities in every respect, and they don't support ANY DISCRIMINATION on the basis of religion.
A Pakistani is a Pakistani, REGARDLESS of his or her religion.
If Qadyanis want to serve Pakistan, who is to keep them from being useful members of the society?
A common Qadyani who is born to qadyani parent probably feels the heat of discrimination at the hands of intolerant public. As if it's a mortal sin to be born into a certain religion. I mean come on, do you think every qadyani is a foreign agent?
Remember how we feel when minorities are discriminated against in India?
Here NOBODY is asking to declare Qadyanis as muslims. All Altaf is advocating is to INTEGRATE them back into our society.
He used the word 'Qadyani masjid', mentioning it separately from the 'regular' masjid that muslims use. What's wrong with that?

If we pakistanis don't act like draculas and appear normal to them, embracing them as OUR EQUALS in the eyes of the law, and allow them to live comfortably, I am sure A LOT OF THEM WILL REVERT to islam..
