Had Jinnah been made Prime Minister, partition would not have happened: BJP leader

Indian ruling party BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Guman Singh Damor stoked controversy, stating if Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had not insisted to be the first Prime Minister of India and let Mohammad Ali Jinnah occupy the top post, the partition would not have happened, reported Hindustan Times.

“If at the time of India’s independence, Jawaharlal Nehru had not been obstinate about being the PM, then the country’s partition would not have taken place. Mohammad Ali Jinnah was an advocate and a learned person,” said Damor while speaking at an election meeting.

“If Jinnah would have been made the PM, then the country wouldn’t have been divided. The sole responsibility of the partition rests with the Congress,” he said.

Damor’s statement comes at a time when the narrative of the BJP is hinged on national security and anti-Pakistan line, and is likely to ruffle up a political storm in the country, which is undergoing the General Elections.

By now, five phases of Lok Sabha elections are over. The sixth phase of polling is taking place on May 12, while the last phase on May 19. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.

بی جے پی بس کانگریس کی مخالفت میں جناح کا نام استعمال کر رہی ہے، ورنہ ۱۹۴۷ تک کانگریس کے اندر بی جے پی ٹائپ کے انتہا پسندوں کی بھی کمی نہیں تھی، ۱۹۳۷ میں مسلمانوں پر عذاب نازل کرنے والے کانگریسی انتہا پسند ہی تھے۔
اس کے علاوہ کانگریس ایک جمہوری تنظیم تھی۔ نہرو کانگریس پر اپنی خواہش اور مرضی تھوپ نہیں سکتے تھے۔ اگر نہرو کو انڈیا کے وزیراعظم کے طور پر چنا گیا تو کانگریس کی منشا کے بغیر یہ ممکن نہیں تھا۔
یہ بھی دیکھنا چاہیے کہ کیا وزیراعظم بننا جناح کی خواہش تھی؟ کیوں کہ پاکستان کے پہلے وزیراعظم جناح نہیں، لیاقت علی خان تھے۔

Jinnah was not after any position.He was happily living in England.He had everything .
Allama Iqbal persuaded him to come back and fight for Pakistan cause.Jinnah understood the banya mentality.He knew Hindu banyas will treat Muslims as slaves so there is no way he would have agreed to become PM. The fears expressed by Jinnah and other Mulsim leaders have come true.In India today Muslims are treated worse than low caste dalits.We should thank Jinnah and other Muslim leaders who had the foresight to demand a homeland for Muslims and succeeded in creating Pakistan.We should thank God for saving us from the yoke of the RSS brainwashed banyas.The extremist Hindus are still harping about partion.They should know that it is a reality now and accept it.India will never be united again.There are very good chances that india will break up into many states.

Jinnah was offered the post of PM but he declined it very wisely. He said that today the Congress and Hindus are in need and want to make PM but when their wishes are attained they will by a brute majority make it impossible for a Muslim to get the post of a Janitor.In India jobs of importance are given as a token show for Secularism. This enmity is till death and Hindus will never ever accept a Muslim as an equal. Recall what they did to the Sikhs and Christians. But sikhs being Sikhs forget it when they devour their quota of alcoholic amrit. Only an arse hole like Ganja can say that we brothers because we eat Aloo-Gosht.
