Re: ghairay ki english?

I think its "Honor", Like ghairat ke naam pe qatal = Honor Killing.

aesay bohat se words hain jin ki proper english translation nahin hai, specially terms used in mysticism like Faqr, tasawwuf, tawakul, khudi etc, bcos their intrinsic meaning/feelings can't be expressed by translated words.

Let us have a deal:

آپ مجھے اردو کے لفظ ".مامتا." کی انگریزی یا کسی بھی اور زبان میں ترجمہ کر دیجیے میں آپ کی غیرت انگریزی میں کر دوں گا
Moral: No language has 100% equivalent words in any other language.

Note: Every language has its music, beauty, and comprehensiveness. Which is best utilized, enjoyed and appreciated by the native speakers. You cannot translate one language to another without damaging the beauty and music of the expression. As case in point, take an English phrase:

"He is leading the race by a nose"

Now translate it in any other language and you shall rape of the music and beauty of the phrase. Let us translate in Urdu:
وہ ایک ناک کے فرق سے دوڑ جیت رہا ہے
