It is not achors job to lecture people and do convincing. He should ask question, maybe one more counter question and then move-on.

Yes you are right, but why to expect the anchor person to go strictly by the book when no one else in our system is doing what they are supposed to do (prime example is this citizen or his leader, former PM!) and then it also depends that how dumb and illogical the answers are, after all the anchor is also a human being, there is a limit to take everything!
