خیرانگی کی بات ہے لوگ ایک عالم دین کی سنی سنائی بات کو تو انکے فوت ہو جانے کے بعد بھی نہیں چھوڑ رہے اور یہ جو چور حکمران ہیں -جو بنے ہوۓ کو مسلسل کھا پی رہے ہیں انکے لیے کوئی خاص آواز ہی نہی

نام پورا یاد نہیں مجھے صرف مولانا مدنی کے نام سے بھی ایک عالم گزرے ہیں جن کے بارے میں کہا جاتا ہے کے وہ بھی پاکستان بننے کے خلاف تھے ،ڈاکٹر اسرار صاحب بتاتے ہیں کے انہوں نے بتایا کے پاکستان بن جانے کے بعد انکے حیالات بدل گئے تھے تو کسی صاحب نے پوچھا کے آپ تو پاکستان بننے کے خلاف تھے تو ،انہوں نے کہا مسجد بننے سے پہلے تو اس بات پر غور اور تفکر کیا جا سکتا ہے کے یہ جگہ مسجد کے لیے مناسب ہے کے نہیں مگر مسجد بن جانے کے بعد دل سے اسے مانو ،

Yes he was, his argument was that 'Muslims' are not a name of a particular nation (like Jews for example, you can't become a Jew you have to be born into a Jewish family) but rather that anyone who accepts Islam is a Muslim and therefore, a division based on 'Islam' or 'Muslim' was not in line with the principals of Islam. He was absolutely correct in that understanding of Islam, he wasn't the only one, Nadwatul Ulama and Deo Band scholars argued the same point, the difference being that once the Pakistan was formed Maulana Mawdudi moved to Pakistan while others didn't. He wrote an excellent book called Musla Qumiat to illustrate his argument.

You may agree or disagree with his academic opinion but it doesn't stop him from being one of the greatest scholars of the last century. It's a shame that he is read and respected far more outside of Pakistan then inside Pakistan.

He wasn't the only one, all scholars from Deo Band and Nadwa tul Ulama had the same opinion. It's important to note that if someone had an opinion about creation of Islam is not a measure of how good or bad scholars they were.

I have read most of Maulana's books and love and respect him dearly, he was a great scholar of Islam. And yes he was against the creation of Pakistan, please see my other posts for the explanation.

bhai 15 saal to mri total umer hy (raaty nikal k) or apni choti se umer me me ne jo molbi or molany dekhy wo apny Qol e Fail me kitny Deen Dar hy wo to sb ko hi maloom hy.....isi liye me ne gustakhi kri k mjy in molbi sab k bary me b kuch btaye k ye ksy molany thy, mri tra kitny hi chawlo ko nhe maloom hoga :(

He did't oppose Pakistan movement, its just propeganda,if it was, then why he was nominated the member of ulama councuil of muslim league at that time, this is just misunderstanding and confusion, even muslim league published his articals about two nation theory and delivered in jalsas,after the independence he delivered speaches on Radio Pakistan about the islamic system
Please read his some books about "Tehreek Azaadi Hind and musalman, its better to understand the exact situation at that time.
