Those who may be wondering what Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri achieved from Long March and the agreement with the Government in its current status. It is to be clarified that first of all he never intended or said that he would bring revolution overnight or in few weeks and revolutions don’t occur in few weeks. It’s a continuous struggle. Also just the agreement was not meant to bring revolution, that was just the beginning of positive change. The main purpose of all current struggle had been to bring awareness in general public and to initiate a process of positive change. 1. People are now aware about articles 62, 63 of the constitution, very few knew about it before. Now people know what to expect in the candidates and would demand election commission to scrutinize candidates properly.
2. People are now aware that constitution itself requires a Government to provide basic necessities to the public and it’s not a favor by any political party but it’s their duty
3. People are now aware that election commission was not formed per constitution and consists of members who are biased. Other honest politicians also started talking about it.
4. Govt. agreed to implement Section 77 to 82 of the Representation of Peoples’ Act 1976 and other relevant provisions relating to conducting free, fair, just and honest elections guarded against all corrupt practices. No one in public was aware of it before.
5. Govt. agreed to implement Supreme Court Judgment of June 8, 2012 on constitutional petition of 2011 in Toto and in true letter and spirit. Before this no one was even aware of this.
6. Scrutiny period has been increased to 14 days. This is again the beginning of a big change. Now at-least Government agreed to make this law, if Dr. Qadri had not shown flexibility, Government may have totally ignored it by not making it a law.
7. Four day peaceful protest by thousands of people demonstrated the World that people of Pakistan are very organized and peaceful.
8. People learnt how to do a successful peaceful protest, prior to this there was no concept of such huge peaceful, yet successful protest in Pakistan.
9. Huge gathering on 23 Dec and then peaceful long march demonstrated to everyone in Pakistan that people want change and they can come out on streets to demand it.
10. Four day consistent sit-in and patience of thousands of people was highlighted by international media and sent a strong message to the World. With this politicians also know now that such protests could occur again too if they did not perform their duty well.
11. People now aware that certain big changes need to occur at our highest courts as well, previously people had thought some of them as heroes.

Yes exactly, he should have cancelled that March if he was so worried about his life but no he had to put other people in danger while he was safe(in bunker). Its a shame that a ______ man uses his crowd as an agreement and in the end he achieves something which has nothing to do with the common people. Please do tell what was achieved? Tell me in points and try not to beat around the bush.

Sorry to say but not a serious answer. In plain words, you dodged the question or would I say that people achieved nothing. He should have told that before taking people along him what he wanted, not after he was there that he doesn't want revolution he just wants to aware people. If he did that no one would have even bothered with him. My last comment I don't want to comment on him anymore. Only words that are for him are bad one's.

At first, when I didn't know much about him, I also had a negative image but when I actually explored into it and went through his works, his books, his videos and his speeches, I realised he was very different from the others. He is a charismatic leader, educated, knowledgeable and gifted. Those who hate him bring up the most rubbish excuses ever and that proves how right he is. The lower the haters stoop in attempting to defame him, the more I respect him because they can't substantiate anything against him.

@ Islamic Dunya, you should sit down, and pray to Allah for forgiveness, you have named yourself Islamic Dunya, yet you are propagating in a manner that does not befit a muslim. You have a one point agenda and that is to defame Dr. Tahir ul Qadri but rather you're defaming yourself because those who listen to what Dr. Tahir ul Qadri says and research more about him, they understand him and become fans of him. In a way you're doing well because it's people like you who propagate against him and make people like me want to learn more about the person and when we research it turns out what you're saying is just rubbish and in the process I manage to understand Dr. Tahir ul Qadri better and learn that he is Haq.

As far as you're post regarding world politics is concerned, that is an integral part of Islam and in order to reform a society you have to do that from the top, that's why you need to be involved in politics. Don't forget, my friend, the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) signed Misaaq-e-madina with jews. Don't pick and choose religion, if you're proud of islam, take it in its purest and true form. ;) May Allah guide you.
