Mehmood Qureshi is doing a PC.

He says his son is not a candidate against Javaid Hashmi.
Zain is just a Karkun of PTI and would follow the instructions and orders of Imran Khan.

Qureshi said that ex PM Moeen Qureshi phoned him from Canada and supported PTI instance.

Qureshi also announced that he is withdrawing the case against PMLN local leaders for attacking his house in Multan.

There is no reason why PTI should contest this seat when they themselves vacated it in the first place. Moreover, the very reasons they vacated the seat still exists i.e. the same defunct election comission, no accountability/audit of the previous stuff and the dismal election regulations. So I don't see why they should bother contesting it.

I whole heartedly agree that PTI should NOT contest from any Punjab, Balochistan or Sindh seats as they have resigned due to no trust of the present election commission and govt. but i seriously doubt that PTI will actually put a contestant from this seat.. let Hashmi win we dont care about seats anymore..

o bhaiyo....PTI has resigned from the national assembly and 3 provincial assemblies. Why on earth would they take part in a by election vacated by anyone?

For any political party it is very foolish decision to stay away from election any party who did this (PPP pti ) paid heavy price for that.

Rightly this perception had developed that PPP is wiped out from Punjab and kp so this boycott of by election will be huge uplift for PPP as all votes polled against pmln will go to PPP thus improving the image of PPP and damaging pti .

Why smq lost from his home cons only by boycotting the by elevator so totally immature and unpolitical decision at least they should allow local leadership to decide independently .

Normally it is so and you are absolutely right but it is not a settled situation, rather in making. If they have vacated seats as strategic move recently, taking part in election will not only reverse their strategy but it will also legitimize the bogus system PTI is fighting against and thus. loosing its moral stand. Opponents still mention PTI sitting in same assemblies for a year, they claim to be elected unlawfully now.
