President Donald Trump will join Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a massive gathering of Indian-Americans in Houston, the White House said Sunday, in a symbolic show of the bond between the two leaders and countries.

The September 22 rally -- dubbed, with a touch of Texan twang, "Howdy, Modi!" -- will mark a rare joint appearance between a US president and a foreign leader before an ethnic community, and be the pair's third meeting this year.

China is a major factor Indian-American relations.The speed with which China is moving to develop its industries and defence had worried America.Russia has strong army and nuclear weapons but it poses no economic threat to America.China on the other hand is a big military and economic threat.If China is able to build its own aircraft engines and passenger planes ,semiconductor chips etc then America will be the loser.China is already a leader in high speed trains,AI,quantum communications,solar and wind energy.America wants to stop China becoming the biggest economy.To do so it needs India,Japan and European countries on its side

If there are even 2000 protesters at this rally, Trump is going to regret attending it. Considering this is going to be in Houston that is very likely. Even the Sikhs are planning to protest this event in Houston so don't be surprised if Trump backs out or if he attends, his base will see the counter protest too and only become more aware about the Kashmir problem.
