Dr Shahid Masood joins ARY Network

KARACHI: Renowned anchorperson and news analyst, Dr Shahid Masood, has assumed the responsibilities of President of ARY Digital Network, ARY NEWS has reported.

Dr Shahid Masood has joined ARY Digital Network as President. He will be the administrative head of all the sub companies of the network, said an announcement by the group issued here Thursday.

Salman Iqbal, CEO and MD of the group, has felicitated Dr Masood on assuming new responsibilities and wished him a good luck, the channel reports.

First of all I would say regarding Dr. Shahid's appointment as ARY president that it is AFTERALL his personal matter and personal career. AS TO "WHY" he shifted from ARy to Geo to Ptv to Geo to Ary , is the matter with least facts and figures and such discussion preclude Dr.Shahid's right to defend himself on his absenteism. We may not know the corporate politics or mysterious pressures that mught have caused Dr.Shahid to make such shifts. However, it is clear that no matter on which channel he aired, he always presented us the TRUTH and benefitted us and has always performed his duties dauntlessly and honestly, for which we shall all SALUTE HIM ... Upto the matter of PTV's notice .... it shall be of no surprise because it has already been planned in Presidency to knock down Hamid Mir, Dr.Shahid Masood, Kashif Abbasi, Ansar Abbasi, Haroon Rasheed and i bet we will see more in coming days against all of them.
