Recently, there has been a storm brewing in the UK. As a result of Phone hacking scam run by the NEWS Corps, in the UK.
The revelations are coming thick and fast. Even though earlier things were hushed up, but now all hell is breaking loose. This is the beauty of Democracy and rule of Law.
Pakistanis should take a lesson, in Pakistan despite everyone aware of the corruption of Zardari and Co and numerous examples of stolen money returned, still no one made to pay the price. That's why I have written to the CJ, so he realise how he is letting Pakistani people down by keep giving the Government chances after chances instead of taking actions to implement the decisions of the SC.
In the UK, 160+ years news paper News of the World closed down last week. The cheif of NEWS Corps Brookes made to resign on Friday and now she is under arrest for phone hacking.
The commissioner Police resigned yesterday.
I also predict that David Cameron would go as well. His links to his aide even after his removal from press office are becoming apparent, so are Cameron's earlier contact and relations with NEWS Corps.
Now Americans have started investigation against NEWS CORPS Murdoch and his son, both are American Citizens and the company's headquarters are in the USA, governed by USA laws.
Today, news is out that Fox was running similar campaign of phone hacking and a special cell for "Black Ops".
This is not only the end of NEWS CORPS but I also predict the end of media hold over the western societies. This episode would give the opportunity to the people of the West to bury this practice of media dominance in the politics and in their daily lives.
I can assure, you this is just the start , this thing is massive, so massive that at the moment we can not comprehend it. But I am predicting many heads will roll in this scandal, including some really high level Government officials in the USA. It will go right up to the White House, I am convinced of it.
Now look at Pakistan. We have evidence of corruption, in Karachi people get killed every day. There are evidence of treason by so many higher up in Pakistan. But what we do? We allow the liars to come on TV shows day after day, lie , throw sands in people's eyes. And our media barons, programs hosts allow opportunities after opportunities to air their views, same guests who are proven liars and thieves.
There is no credibility of any Program hosts or their guests in my eyes, bar few exceptions in the guests lists.
Take example of Great Satan Malik, thousands of people have died on his watch in Pakistan. But nobody ask him the question, why does not he resign? We have so many TV stations, why there is not a concentrated campaign to demand his resignation?
Now compare him with Met Chief, he resigned because it is alleged that Police Officers were paid bribes by the News Corps. He could have said he didn't receive it, or how it is his fault if some Police officers received bribes. But no, it is his responsibility, it happened under his watch, so he has to go, no if and buts.
Try telling this to Satan Malik.
