pmln and ppp are both trying to belittle ik efforts ,his political leaership qualities, his honesty and his ability to turn impossible projects or goals into reality. For instance even ZA Bhutto could stir up emotions of public but could never deliver such a marvelous speech. Za Bhutto was a opportunistist and that is why he joined President Ayub cabinet at a very young age as a foreign minister. We can compare ik struggle with nelson mandela,s struggle or equate his struggle with Mao or Lenin or Chegavara as he is not only struggling against local status quo but also the international status quo including USA, Europe, Saudi Arabia, India, Isreal etc. So if IK comes to power ,it will not be less than a miracle. Why Pakistan is so important........itt is importantant because of its geoplolotical location where more than 60% of worlds populationresides and 2 super powers and a mini superpower India are located. Pakistan is very important as well because it is the only muslim country with atomic arsenal. Most importantly, Pakistan has always played the role of a pawn of USA in international diplomacy and USA & its allies cannot afford to lose such a valueable asset which gives its own interest much less weightage as compared to the interests of super powers.
