Extreme Gas Shortage in Pakistan from Next Year until Next 10 Years!

Guys, Pakistan will face the extreme gas shortage starting from next winters and by year 2022 it will be 4,500 mmcfd and will double by year 2027. If Khan Govt don't tackle the situation it may lose masses support in next general elections.

Immediate measures
Priority should be given to domestic/industrial users.
Ban the use of CNG in vehicles (vans, buses even cars/Rickshaws). This was an stupid idea first hand.
Ban the use of gas in generation of electricity (people are gas generators)
Long Term
Work to upgrade the system of gas distribution to prevention of losses.
Look for more gas reserves. (Sui kab tak pore Pakistan ko pale ga)
Generation of electricity should only be through hydro or crude oil.

No Brother - I am not Patwari at-all, But we are in acute shortage of Gas. and Govt needs to tackle the situation by implanting the new RLNG Terminal and Importing the Cheap Gas from Qatar and Azerbaijan.

That is why they are developing the 3rd LNG Terminal. it will take time. and then a distribution network is required alongwith. hence we must be hopeful that the shortage will be resolved, but its infact a matter of time

Gas shortage will cost us more dollars. It will shut down industries and transportation moreover it will also hit the credibility of govt. Fuel prices are hitting new lows and will remain there for upcoming months because of lower demand. It is a good chance for us to import gas and support our industry. Gas is a lot cheaper when compared to petroleum and electricity produced using furnace oil.
