So that kills the purpose of two nation theory partially because One of the reasons right wing nutters cite for the creation of Pakistan is the freedom of practising faith. With such a banning order the right wing nutters will create a big fuss. So practically this won't be feasible.

Too much violence in the name of religion, already!
How can a muslim (true and practicing muslim) can kill another human being (of any religion / sect) on road in the name of religion???? unbelievable! shameful! violent / intolerant / extremist society... utmost jahaalat.
don't forget guys, ulemaas of both sects are equally responsible for spreading hatred.... if u've read literature of both sides, u'll get my point! such a shame! doing all this in the name of religion of PEACE!

They should atleast make sure that routes of processions (even political rallies) are through areas which are on outer limits of city, right now the route is usually through the most densely populated areas completely bringing normal life to a halt.

Creation of Pakistan or the Ideology of Pakistan never implied that you can provoke other sects by leading highly charged/aggressive processions. Practice your faiths in the mosque or in your home. Do not take it to the roads and cause a safety hazard.

My dear , banning religious procession alone not gonna help as things have gone from bad to worst . We are a society full of hate against others just read the posts on this forum and you will realize how much patience we have .
If we dont agree with some one the first thing we say is Munafiq, and we dont stop until we declare him a kafir . Personally I dont think things will improve ( i hope i am wrong) because when hearts are filled with hate and filth Eman vanishes from there and thats what has happened to our society.
Injustices in our society is the main cause of this destruction , especially towards the weak.
