I have said this way too many times on this forum that we should not generate electricity from thermal sources anymore , there is already irreversible damage done to the earth and least we can do is to slow the process of damage. The industrialization has come at the cost of damage to the earth and the more the carbon is emmited into earth atmosphere the more we will be susceptible to global warming. We have already seen a lot of hurricanes and its sisters in different parts of the world and if the glaciers started melting at a faster rate we might see a complete change in demographics of the world and lack of water.

Pakistan needs to make use of wind , solar and hydel energy and refrain from any thermal sources at the moment.

The automobile industry also needs to make sure that pakistan is moving towards hybrid vehicles if not the complete electric cars. The CO2 emissions must decrease.

One child policy is the only solution for overpopulated countries like Pakistan. Pakistan needs to bring down its population from 21 crore to 5 crore. There will be again forests in Punjab with all kinds of birds and animals and flowing clean rivers.

Then, generate hydel energy through run off river, solar and wind projects.
