Najam Sethi show cleared all storm in a tea cup. He has got diplomatic Passport with a business visa. All jazbati patoras should switch their pea brains on; either search on he internet for law about diplomatic passport holder or shut their stupid mouths

Our sold out leaders will attempt to convince the people that this was not murder but self defence!. This could be the acid test that may break the people's patience, as seen in Tunisia that one small incident can spark of something big.

what acid test ; isnt this a normal day to day routine in paksitan for 2 men on bike coming in and robbing us from our mobiles. each abnd every one i personally know have had their mobile snatched and some with atleast 1 robbbery in their houses including mine.

hey gazoo pea brain; davis has killed 2 ppl and the parado driver has killed 1. The parado driver must be found and prosecuted. Get yr facts right before spitting out the small brain of yours.

Consulate and Embassy staff seem to be completely confused. They know that their guy has committed triple murder and has been arrested. They also know the defendant has no chances of escape the trial except for 'safarish', presidential pardon, and (most possible) money to the officials, PPP govt and the police.

So they cant make up their mind. May be they sent him on a mission and Davis botched up the plan and now they are upset with him as well because of the sensitivity of the case. Its only ONE man and they cant make up their mind as to what his status is.

Their confusion is a clear sign that he must have been on a very important mission. May be to sabotage some buildings, may be the two bikers chasing him were ISI agents, in which case this is out great loss. May be he was on a drug deal or weapons deal that did not go well. There are 100 or possibilities. That's why he must be put on trial. Perhaps even give him a polygraph test ....

is the jury allows khun baha, an option in sharia, then the US govt must pay $5million to the survivors of the each killed, and $50million to the Pak govt and $10million to the owner (s) of the building that got damaged, if any. I wouldn't settle for less then the govt should declare him a persona non grata for ever

Davis holds diplomatic passport: Malik​

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday informed the Upper House of Parliament that the accused, Raymond Davis, involved in the killing of Pakistani nationals, would be treated in accordance with the law of the land.

“Law will take its course and no favour will be done with the accused,” said the minister while responding to various point of orders raised by the senators.

Malik informed the House that the person arrested by the Punjab police is holding a diplomatic passport.

He also said that central and provincial governments would not hinder the court proceedings regarding Raymond Davis.

“We will follow whatever the court said and would provide all information desired by the court regarding the case of the US citizen involved in the killing of two Pakistanis.”

He added that on the instructions of the honourable court, the name of the Raymond Davis has been put in the Exit Control List (ECL).

The minister said that holding an open debate on such a sensitive issue would be inappropriate as it would influence the investigation being conducted by the Punjab police.

Malik said that the information will be shared with the House shortly as the investigation report from Punjab would reach within a few days.

He said it is unfortunate that some elements are spreading news about rifts in the federal government and provincial government on the issue of Davis.

“There is no rift between the two governments on the issue, we are on the same page and will follow whatever the law of the country said.”

Malik also dispelled the impression that federal government is interfering in the issue.

I think Ansar Abbasi was right yesterday that federal govt ready to let him go, & they will make the DIPLOMATIC ACCESS CARD in back dates..
Thus closing the case & this davis will go out of Pakistan in US PLANE under Diplomatic immunity..
But ALLAH knows best..
