I first learned about the Hubble deep field about a year ago and since have downloaded the full rez photo and spent a great deal of time looking at it and its mind boggling just how big the universe is and how much stuff is out there and just how tiny and isolated we are, if indeed we are alone out there. Which even with the shittiest probability we probably are not.
