By shooting down a civilian plane (and killing 170+ civilians on board) that took off from her own airport, Iran has proved Trump right that Iranian regime is an irresponsible regime. For foreseeable future, he’s going to taunt Iran that sue has nuclear ambitions when she can not even responsibly handle vanilla missile technology, and stuff like a nuclear weapon in Iran’s hands is a terrible proposition.

Ha ha ha. Even missiles fired give Iran 1+1=2
But in any case, it was very unprofessional from Iranian air defence system. This also tells us that Iran air force is not worthy of defending its assets since their first choice was air defence batteries.

Iran must now sit with its neighbors to settle the disputes. Iran behaviour is not doing any good to the region. Iran has brought itself to a situation where all neighboring countries will only play watch and see policy.

The Americans shot down an Iranian commercial jet in 1988 The Russian shot down a KAL jet in 83.

So this kind of shit has happened before, but never has a jet been shot down by the country it took off in.

The Iranis first of all fucked up big time by not closing its airspace to commercial traffic when they had already launched missiles and there was a possibility of retaliation.

The Iranis confused and in panic probably fired the SAM thinking its an enemy aircraft heading their way. Maybe they didn't know air space was not shutdown and their was still civilian traffic?

Anyway a tremendous fuck up by Iran and the only reason they admitted it, is because nowadays missiles and shit can be very easily tracked, specially when you just launched an attack so expect everyone to have their eyes, radars, satellites and other tracking devices trained on you like a hawk!

They tried to bullshit at first and kept quite, refused to hand over the black boxes as it would clearly show the plane was hit

As CitizenX mentioned above about the iran air fuckup so there is no point repeating that. There's the russians downing commercial jets. Let's look at your beloved Trump's US level of professionalism.

The cases of US and Russia were sheer aggression while Iran was a picture of utter confusion, the myth of Iran's military might has ended up being nothing but laughing stalk

Wrong! Iran Air was shot down by a trigger happy Naval commander who shot it in confusion which US still claims was a case of mistaken identity. Stop making up facts out of thin air.

Iranian civial aviation authority should have closed its airspace for at least 12 hours. This plane should not have been allowed to fly just after Iran attacked American bases. It was a tragic mistake which could have been avoided.

It was sheer aggression or mere negligently as the captain of Vincennes was William C. Rogers III as he blamed for it by lots of analysts as per internal reports, for overly aggressive behavior in a tense and dangerous political environment. The event took place in open waters of international territory as compared to this one where airliner took off from Iranian soil which has confusion and incompetency written all over it

From where they are getting engines for modified F5 and Qahar 313 project? If they have produced their own then its very interesting.

Qahar is a pipe dream of the Iranians they don't have the tech or the technical know how, how to make one, they are just fooling themselves with plastic models and models. the best they have come up with is a fuzzy video of toy model with a propeller or RC jet claiming a working prototype.

And the F5 is even more ancient jet from the 50s older even than the tomcats and phantoms and Iran themselves poor clones of this old and simple jet still equpped with steam gauges while the world has moved on to glass cockpits.

A squadron of JF17 thunders could literally wipe out the entire Iranian air force in a day
