Political Parties should become bigger than their solo heads

He is creating un-necessary issues for the government such as moon sighting issue, elected, unelected controversy etc. He should stick to the affairs of his ministry, and let government communications flow through information ministry.

Dissent and constructive criticism within the party is good but it should be behind closed doors, while presenting a unified face of the party in public.

WHY? So that the one man grip on the party remains firm, and no evolution and wiser representative party may ever emerge ? Like we have in developed world, and only yes sir and our TC culture continues

There is a thing called party discipline...

Evolution occurs when you have geographical and physiological barriers.

Similarly, this evolution can occur behind closed doors; otherwise this will create fissures within the party and give a bad impression to the public in general.

In democratic system the members are generally expected to toe the party line with limited leeway to express their opinion especially on party's internal affairs.

Even the British political parties do reprimand their members if they go beyond certain limits.

The emergence of a new political party from the carcasses of PMLN and PPP is inevitable. But whoever leads this new party will have to be better than Khan in integrity, sincerity and loyalty to the country. Until then he has nothing to be concerned about.

Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry were only two Ministers who were doing an excellent job for PTI and Imran Khan and party should have supported them for a long term in order to bring some difference.

Unfortunately, party and leadership became alienated with both within only few months.

A tenure of a Govt is 5 years and you do not dump your key batsman only after 6 months to be replaced by Zardari's people.

Now, dont blame the media, it is PTI's own mistake.

The day Firdaus Ashiq Awan will leave, you will start calling her bad names too
