Not every commission formed in Pakistan has been a failure, Hamood ur Rehman commission, Abbotabad and Memogate commissions are examples which investigated and brought the truth into limelight. When the head of the commission is an honest person, he will make sure the agencies dont bluff him. He can take in external experts from different fields to verify what agencies or institutions are trying to do. The problem with all these commissions are their time period which is not defined. Siraj sahab is directing the court to give the deadline to commission and make an honest person the head of it. This was exactly what we needed.

Regarding model town commission you would know that Justice Baqar Najfi's report is against the govt and the govt went to the court to halt its proceedings. So that commission is not in govt's favour also.
