False things have always been attributed to great personalities of Islam through out the history. Dr. Tahir ul Qadri is no exception to that. He emerged so quickly, and had so many accomplishments in such a short span of time, that some corners started their organized efforts to defame him. They attributed lots of things to him which either he never said, or were quoted out of context.

One of the most mis-reported issues is that of his dreams. In this post I would analyze this issue in a little bit detail. But before that, I would suggest the readers to obey the following teaching of Quran (Sura Hujrat 49:6)​

O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done.​

. اے ایمان والو ! اگر تمہارے پاس کوئی فاسق (شخص) کوئی خبر لائے تو خوب تحقیق کر لیا کرو (ایسا نہ ہو) کہ تم کسی قوم کو لاعلمی میں (ناحق) تکلیف پہنچا بیٹھو، پھر تم اپنے کئے پر پچھتاتے رہ جاؤ​

Most of the objections raised against Dr. Sahib are baseless and usually are part of organized propaganda campaigns. So you are suggested to always authenticate such news, before believing in them.​

What Dr. Qadri said:

In one of his speeches, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri described a couple of his dreams. The summary of his words follows:​

Dream 1:​

The Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) came to my Dream, when I was young. He asked me to make an Islamic center and promised me that he would come there.​

Dream 2: ​

In a Dream I saw that there are a lot of people gathered in a ground. Someone told me that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) is present there and is very angry that why people of
Pakistan have done nothing for Islam. The Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) is saying that he came on the invitation of the scholars, but now he is angry with them. He (i.e. the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم )) is going to leave this country. On this I (i.e. Dr. Sahib) went to the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) and begged forgiveness on the behalf of my country fellows. After some time, the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم )s anger reduced and He accepted my invitation to stay in
Pakistan. He asked me to make arrangements related to his stay and travel including the arrangement of the ticket of the journey.​

What Dr. Qadri NEVER said:​

The wording of Dr. Sahib has been summarized above, and would be analyzed in this discussion later. But some people took this as an opportunity to defame him by attributing false things with him. So be sure about the following:

He NEVER said that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) came in his Dream and asked him to come into politics / contest election.


He NEVER said that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) decided the name of his Jamaat (party).

He NEVER said that the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ) asked him to make this and this decision.​

And the list goes on All the decisions in his organizations are taken by relevant decision-making bodies and Dr Sahib never claimed that a decision was taken on the instruction of the Prophet (صلی اللہ علیھ وآلھ وسلم ).

O c'mon brother. everything is lie but is this video lie, in which he is giving two entirely different statements about blasphemy law. I can give lot of proofs but I can't fight with blind faith. So "Tumhara deen tumharai liay aur mera mera merai liay " .

Brother....watch the complete video shared by hope4Change....you will find the difference....He argued for 18 hours in Federal Shariya Court and convince the judge to make blasphemy law....so the substansive portion of law was by him....but he has no connection with procedural law that was made by Zia ul Haq and his cabinet....Please don't be a part of false propagand.....

Your point can be accepted only if Dr.Tahir ul Qadri withdrew from his support in favor of substantive part of the law "Death Punishment" but he never denied and even defended every where whether before court in pakistan in arguments 18hrs, urdu talk or before Denmark media..he only had and have reservations on procedural part of the law...urdu talk and English talk shows this part where Tahir ul Qadri was against and is and always demand changes to avoid misuse of this law......listen this and remove your confusion.....

...here s the true video having before context " whatever the law is, not applicable on non-muslims" that fully substantiate his stance as per Urdu part....listen this then decide where is contradiction...he was and is in support of Blasphemy "Substantive part" death punishment whether before court 18hrs or in 13hrs Urdu talk from where urdu clip was taken in edited video was made or before European media ....Dr.Tahir ul Qadri had only objection on "procedural" part of the law where in it is misused for minorities or weaker parts of community.....he always demand to change the "procedure" of the law and never withdrew his stance on "punishment"....listen this ...After listening this true video every one will come to know that who is really caught red handed telling a lie and spreading disinformation @Azizan

I agree with you bro, but correct your information that Tahir ul Qadri is not a molvie.....he being PhD in law is the one of the greatest scholar in the world who is writer of 1200 books, speaker of 7000 lectures and he never takes a single money for his services all over the world...his all services are free....keeping beard can not be considered as Molvie...but Molvie irrespective of having beard or not is a typical rigid, conservative & backwardness of thought which cuts us from modern times , scientific knowledge and spread hatreds, dividing communities & is a enemy of love, peace & interfaith harmony ....

there is no contradiction between his two statements ,some extremist elements wrongly edited his two videos by joining 2 different video with different context ,Taking bits and pieces of various clips tied together with bad translations to make a misleading video is quite low behavior really.Anyone who knows the "A, B, C" of law understands this and would really consider the maker of such a video to be a complete ignoramus. .before making any judgment you should watch both lectures in full context .Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was involved with the Substantive Law of blasphemy and had reservations about the Procedural Law. This is what is clear from the original videos.Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri never denied his role in court to defend blasphemy law (substantive part). Substantive aspect of Blasphemy Law is a Biblical & Quranic Law hence Can't be Criticized or changed. he was neither a Parliamentarian nor an adviser to the General Zia. he never been involved in Procedural Law He categoricaly l said that Procedural aspect of Blasphemy Law in Pakistan must be radically Changed so that no wrong or exploitative steps may took place.,to get clear idea on this subject one must watch his 14 hour long Speech on Salman Taseer-Mumtaz Qadri Case.Pakistani Government should bring reforms in Procedural aspect of Blasphemy Law . Its unjustifiable objecting to Substantive aspect of Blasphemy Law & turned a blind eye to hundreds of hangings taking place for various crimes in USA.

In Pakistan not even a single hanging took place under the Blasphemy Law in 27 years!
