So the fact that it clearly says RESIDENCE PERMIT does not make it a residence permit ?
Khleeji mumalik men nationality wala system nahi hai to ye mumalik sirf residece visa aise hi issue karte hen ya job ho ya phr koi business ho jesa k es visa men ap neche es k company ka nam or es ka profession perh sakte hen jis se ap ko samjhne men asani hojaigi..ye visa her business man ko milta hai her job holder ko milta hai..Saudi arab men Resident Permit issue hota hai wo b ek saal ka hota hai jo k ID card bana k dete hen wo hi ap ka visa hai jab tak valid hai..
It's work visa nothing more .
No nationality for foreigners in Arab countries......

I hate ppp n sharjeel. But dosnt mean tht we do start giving misconception abt evatin. Reading tht he will be consultant. He is employ officially. Its visa. Its natiinality. Yaar whn u dont kno anytin abt uae or its rules. Y do u hav to say sumtin abt it. Y misconceptions.
Leme clear it. This is his own company n he can take any visa under it. Whether tht is of manager or officeboy. Almost 99 % of paki politicians hav same tin. N by taking to court as sumone hav suggested, dont know tht concern judge ke passport pe isi tara ka visa hoga. Its cheap. Cost around opening n getting visa on it around 50,000 aed.

as he has to be resident to Pakistan to be member of Parliament
and the card shows he is resident of UAE ..

Those who pretend or beleive that having work permit of UAE is a minor matter. Imagine you hire a person and without your knowledge he is also made a commitment elsewhere.
This stupid Sharjeel Memon is a freaking Minister. If he wants to work in UAE then stay in UAE, why he took the post of Mininster. Above all, most of the politicians and bureaucrats have such arrangements so they can leave Pakistan on couple of hours notice.

Well...this is small stuff compared to others. Nawaz Sharif and family have ILR from UK....Zardaris are company owners in UAE, and have business visas. These guys go to Pakistan for visits, while their primary abodes are London, Dubai and Jeddah. Nothing new about this. Its the impotency of our law enforcement agencies that should be lamented here.
He holds a government post. He is not allowed to even to apply for it.
He can be sentenced for this.

It's a resident visa and as per the information on the visa, his sponsor is F B S Business Services and he is working there as Marketing Manager. He cannot work for any other sponsor in UAE on this visa.
If someone starts a business in UAE, he gets Investor or Partner visa, depending on the structure of the organization. So this is not a business visa.
In order for the company to maintain its license, it has to deposit the salary (as stated in his labor contract) through Central Bank in UAE's WPS (Wages Protection System) in the employees account. Employees bank statement shows the transaction as WPS deposit or if the employee doesn't have a bank account, his salary has to be deposited in an authorized money exchange in the name of the employee. Record of WPS deposits is available with banks/ money exchanges and UAE central bank/ Labor department.
This is to ensure that employers are not able to stop salaries of any employee for more than a year. Any money that is given as cash or transferred to the employee's account through any other means, is not considered salary in UAE. If the company has any reservation, they have to notify the labor department and ask for cancellation, however, employee salary must be deposited up to the date of cancellation.
To keep this visa valid, one must not live outside of UAE for more than six months.
Salaries can be stopped if the person is absent from work without pay. This seems to be the case of Sharjeel Memon who keeps his visa valid by visiting UAE every six months. He might not be getting salaries as his employer might have said that he has taken leave without pay.
In my opinion, he has got this visa to avoid hassles of visit visa processing. I don't know Pakistani law, but if our law stops a lawmaker of working somewhere else, he will be in hot waters on the basis of his labor contract alone.
