Real Losers of Panama Issue
Our institutions are equipped with such instruments which filters out only the corrupt and greedy persons on top most positions and if miraculously some honest get on top, he must surrender to serve the objectives of ruling elites or get removed from his position. Institutions are like pillars of the state which provide stability if they are functioning properly and independently, one of the worst crime committed by PMLN and PPP is that they have been severing these pillars for so many years now, and military dictators also didn't do any better of course.
Sadly our judiciary is also not an exception to any other institutions, the judges are so easily lured by high increments, lavish privileges and their ever lasting lust to stay in public office, getting extentions and after services appointments is highly unethical, and great deal to the conflict of interest. However when we look at their performance we find them so egocentric and prejudice, not a single example of any high profile case we see which would've been dealt with a substantial justice as per record, when to stepping out of their boundaries and when to compliance with a stronger! it's always at their discretion.
They can take suo moto on Samosas price when they want but turn blind eye towards issue like news gate which was serious security breach, no harmony can be seen anywhere between their decisions and priorities at institutional level, which raises some serious questions, in fact it's one of the institution which people have least faith in their credibility and they had many chances in past to repair it but failed miserably. And once again, the Panama issue has come as another opportunity for Supreme Court to restore it's trust in general public and dilute this very strong perception that Courts has always been partial to PMLN in general and Sharif family in particular, should we just acknowledge that they are above the law?
Despite the fact, that whole Sharif family got exposed since Panama issue has been arisen, their blatant lies to the face of the whole nation, so many contradictory statements, whether it was on the floor of the house, while addressing the nation or by other family members, But all these contradictions seem not to bother Supreme Court, and if our honourable judges think that they were only political statements then please pass another judgement that words like "Integrity" and "truthfulness" has no meaning in this country, remove article 62,63 from constitution and also change the name from "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" to "Banana Republic of Pakistan".
Another trick what can be played by Supreme Court that once again they may try to shift the burden of proof on petitioner, as they were inclined towards it even in the last hearing, and put all the blames on petitioner that they couldn't provide any concrete evidence, but our dear judges don't try to play this game this time because everybody knows, it's not an issue of PTI or Imran Khan, it's a national interest issue where PM standing as an accused of embezzlement of public money, his family's sumptuous lifestyle and their tax returns are highly contrary to each other, and he stands guilty if he fails to prove that all his umpire which he has built outside country, was not built by ill-gotten wealth.
Our dear judges please also don't try to hide behind the cover of forming the commission this time, we all know why the commissions are formed! your job is not forming the commissions but to deliver justice to the people based on evidences and there's enough evidences of PM's disqualification, London high court's decision 1999 is most indisputable documentary evidence, proving that Sharif family was declared owner of mayfair flats even in 90's. But that also might not be very convincing evidence for our dear judges, because they don't take decisions based on evidence but they do so by looking who is standing in front of them. Dear judges if you are going to do it again let's not forget one day you will also be standing in front of the Lord of the worlds and would realize then, it was you who were the loser in the world and hereafter.
Then there are some other as well in this game, in fact how astonishing it is that no PMLN minister or their blind followers dared to ask the question, oh my dear leader! why there are so many contradiction in your family's statements, they never doubt anything fishy and unbelievably the Qatari Prince letter which surfaced in the courtroom, surprised everybody, but they owened it without any ifs and buts as it was some divine revelation. Not only that they defended NS unconditionally and attacked their opponents so meliciously, whoever raised question on Panama leaks, it just shows that what a pathetic loser they are!
They would always boast whenever their masters get away with their crimes, as they did shamelessly in model town incident, they mocked Tahir ul Qadri for demanding justice for model town victims, and laughed at him that he had made a deal with government when he left country after dharna, I don't know whether he did make a deal or not, but whose responsibility it was to provide justice to affected families? They don't even realise that tomorrow their own sons or daughters could be one of them, nor they have ever demanded to release Justice Baakir's report. Are they really loyal to this country or to the people of this country ? I don't think so! They are only loyal to their masters.
As for those whoever is seeking the accountability, they should not do it just because of country, of course Pakistan is in dire need of it, but they should be seeking it across the board whether it be Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan because Allah (swt) has order us to do so.
" O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted."
[Srah al-Nis: 135]
Whatever decision comes from court tomorrow, biggest reward is to stand firm for justice, may Allah (swt) make us persistent in it because whoever does so he is never a loser, inshaa Allah.
