After having blamed then CJ Iftikhar Chaudhary publically for irregularities in elections , Imran later changed his stance and almost apologized in the court that he did not say that and he meant returning officers not the CJ did it . At that time imran could have easily mustered 50000 crowd outside supreme court and CJ would have been forced to resign , re-election would have been a simple affair. He relied on his lawyers forgetting that lawyers are never a revolutionary , they are status quo tied to sick current legal system as this is the best golden hen mediocres like them can ever get.
Then he accepted commission , which had powers of summoning legal and criminal and every evidence recorded is legal evidence even if the judges were not sitting as judges but as commission members and no orders are to be made .it being a fact finding commission. Today a programme was on air on one of the channels where the moderator was trying to put PTI on the tract that they should some how channel the efforts to prove that commission itself was illegal . This is misguidance from the conductors of politics. The only way open for PTI is to prove that evidence presented in the commission was not the type which warranted the final conclusions, a good way is to show those statements to the public . But Imran seems tired now.
The runners of politics know that the case of defamation of Imran is almost proven by JC finding , but to make sure that such situation does not occur , afterall on whose bidding CJ Iftikhar took such brave stances against Musharaf ?. they have taken two steps , first the billion class suit is in session court which is wrong as value is too much , this needs high court , but as high court decides such matter in no time , this was not desired , so this court busies itself by fining Babar Awan who absents himself and who correctly says that this is not the court . Next so as not to lighten up the fortunes of former CJ , they have made sure that he controverses himself further by announcing entry into politics earlier than stipulated in law , but not actually doing it , thus both doing and not doing an illegality.
Imran better get rid of ambitious politicians , lawyers and former civil servants in his party , and concentrate on young lot , only then he can break the stranglehold around him .He has to break open the shell but then he has to have capable team otherwise he as expected will destroy the main fabric of this country by promoting anarchy and encouraging antisunni islam policies like his participation in Yemen resolution.
