This is really really shamefull, if the army and government cannot protect its people then they should all resign and hand their guns over to the people. Shame ful and pathetic, the army has still not given a statement or taken any practical steps. Lets wait and see how this puppet army disappoints us again.

I have said this on many occasions before, but this is a puppet military , and has been for decades now from ayub to zia to mush and now kiyani. Nothing will change , drone stikes will continue, border incursions will be more frequent and before we know it they will have their troops on our soil. Expect nothing from these corrupt military generals and leaders. They are the same ,infact the military is alot worse.

NATO air strikes in Pakistan violate UN mandate: official

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday lodged a strong protest with NATO over air strikes by the alliance's helicopters on its territory near the Afghan border saying they violated a UN mandate, the foreign office said. The attack by the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) helicopters on Friday left more than 30 insurgents dead, an ISAF statement issued in Kabul on Sunday said.
Pakistan said the helicopters intruded into its territory twice from the eastern Afghan province of Khost as they chased the militants.
These incidents are a clear violation and breach of the UN mandate under which ISAF operates, foreign office s***esman Abdul Basit said in a statement.
The ISAF statement admitted that an air weapons team engaged a significant number of insurgents following an attack on a remote Afghan National Security Force (ANSF) outpost in Khost province Friday.
ANSF received direct and indirect fire at Combat Outpost Narizah near the Pakistan border. An air weapons team in the area observed the enemy fire, and following International Security Assistance Force rules of engagement, crossed into the area of enemy fire.ISAF aircraft then fired on the militants killing more than 30, the statement said, adding that two helicopters returned to the border area on Saturday and killed several more insurgents.
Initial reports indicate no civilian were injured or killed during either operation, the ISAF statement said.
Pakistan said ISAF's saying mandate terminates/finishes at the Afghanistan border.
There are no agreed 'hot pursuit' rules. Any impression to the contrary is not factually correct. Such violations are unacceptable, the foreign office statement added.
It said ISAF had been asked not to participate in any military action that violates the UN mandate and infringes upon Pakistan's sovereignty.
In the absence of immediate corrective measures, Pakistan will be constrained to consider response options, it warned.
The statement said Pakistan had always emphasised the need for coordinated and joint action against insurgents.
Under US pressure to crack down on Islamist havens along the Afghan border, Pakistan has in the past year stepped up military operations against largely homegrown militants.
The rare helicopter attacks came amid a surge in US drone strikes in Pakistan's lawless tribal belt, which is considered a safe haven for Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked operatives and is branded the most dangerous place on earth by Washington.
Four militants were killed in the missile strike on Monday which was 19th attack in 24 days.
Militants fighting against 150,000 US and NATO troops in Afghanistan are believed to be holed up in Pakistan's tribal areas, as are operatives at war with Pakistani security forces.
Last year Pakistan launched its most ambitious military offensive yet against Taliban militants in South Waziristan, expanding the campaign to many of the other seven semi-autonomous tribal districts along the border.

(CNN) -- NATO helicopters crossed into Pakistani airspace from Afghanistan in pursuit of insurgents over the weekend, killing 49 people, a s***esman told CNN Monday.
Crossing the border did not violate the International Security Assistance Force rules of engagement, Maj. Michael Johnson said.
Pakistan is very sensitive about United States-led military operations on its territory and issued a strong protest Monday.
Pakistan called the incursions "a clear violation and breach" of the United Nations rules for foreign forces in Afghanistan.
The United Nations "mandate terminates/finishes at the Afghanistan border. There are no agreed hot pursuit rules," Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
ISAF s***esperson Maj. Sunset Belinsky confirmed later Monday that U.S. helicopters were involved in at least three border incidents over the weekend.
According to Belinsky, the first one on Saturday was "self-defense," with Apache helicopters pursuing insurgents across the border about a kilometer (about a half a mile) into Pakistani territory and opening fire.
Belinsky said the NATO forces communicated with the Pakistani military after the incident, in which the insurgents had opened fire on the helicopters and then crossed the border into Pakistan.
After that, a second NATO weapons team went to assess what happened in the first incident and came under fire from the Pakistani side of the border, Belinsky said. The second team returned fire, she said, adding it was unclear if the second team actually entered Pakistani air space.
Earlier, Johnson could not say whether the insurgents were killed in Afghanistan or Pakistan, or even whether the NATO helicopters fired their weapons in Pakistani territory.
The U.S. helicopeters were responding to an insurgent attack on a remote Afghan National Security Force outpost in Khost province on Friday, ISAF said in a statement.
"An air weapons team in the area observed the enemy fire, and following International Security Assistance Force rules of engagement, crossed into the area of enemy fire," the statement said.
Johnson, the ISAF s***esman, could not say how often NATO forces crossed into Pakistani airspace -- but said it had happened again Monday morning.
NATO is still getting the details on that incident, which he called "much smaller."
CNN's Richard Allen Greene, Fred Pleitgen and Nicola Hughes contributed to this report.

NATO forces cross border into Pakistan

Two Nato helicopters killed 30 insurgents on Pakistani soil after a rare manned pursuit across the border from Afghanistan, Nato forces said on Sunday.
The two Apache attack helicopters from the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) crossed the border from eastern Afghanistan on Friday after the insurgents attacked a remote Afghan security outpost in Khost province.

Salam Jimpack, you r right it is shame to our govt & armed forces, as it degrades our citizens & army moral, as some times their relatives get killed & they become angry but cant do against their leaders orders. So it should be stopped as it will create more hate & violence in our country as well as creating differences amongst ranks of our army..
