I don't know if that website addresses my idea but here it is:
We should have an online website/database where pakistanis can report criminal or illegal activities that they notice around them or if anything happens to them. That website would be accessible to everyone and editable (through some moderation) by everyone. If the database grows big enough it would be able to tell us about which people are dangerous, which people and places to avoid etc, etc.
One big problem is that people would start reporting fake/false crimes (mostly just out of spite or jealousy or to malign their enemies). A related problem is that even for legitimate complaints, evidence would be needed to be sure that such a crime has occurred, and such n such person is in fact the culprit. Is there a way to avoid this pitfalls and make it an effective mechanism of dealing with, or at least being aware of, problems in pakistan?
