This is another interesting aspect of Azadi march which has attracted attention. In a talk show this evening, when a talker pointed out that Mr. Ludhyanvi's rally indicates preparedness for new sectarian conflict in Pakistan, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi responded that what is happening on PTI stage, it is instigating religious feelings of certain conservative quarters in society. Given the reaction of Fazloo and Tahir Ashrafi, we find another material change in scenario. PTI revolution is not about a prosperous Pakistan but progressive as well and the majority of IK following comes from youth. That means PTI is challenging the rigid and ruthless clergy equipped with shortsightedness as well. It also indicates that youth are replacing the old generation which is not ready to understand the new concepts and styles, resisting in the name of Islam as shelter as usual. Pakistanis need to support PTI for a prosperous, progressive and enlightened Pakistan like Turkey and Malaysia. Rise to the moment with playful mood, energized with hope and resolve to win.
BTW, from Ludhyanvi's show and PMLP-N workers attacking PTI peaceful dharna in Lahore, I have this feeling that PML-N will not hesitate to engineer sectarian war for sake of holding power at any cost.
