They may have never touched or kissed feet of their own parents ... prophet (PBUH) said that in end times the muslim scholars will be the worse specie breathing under the sky ... pugnacity and mischief (finta) will come out of them and enter back into them ..so at this very last time quran is the only genuine source toward righteousness ... so go through it and ask Almighty for the guidance towards true path ... as sovranty and guidance belong and suits to HIM only...
