Ok lets be honest, I don't care whether Jalsa was larger than last time or not... what worries me is that the MAGIC like last time was not there.

Bhai what type of Magic were you looking for... There were about 4-5 lac people from all walks of life chanting slogans standing on jammed roads , surrounding roofs and all over the ground.. Even the heavy rain could not make them leave.. ! Believe me, it was first time in the history of Pakistan.

Sedqal, my comment was strictly related to the management aspect of the jalsa :)

I guess the chaos just reflects whats happening all around us. Still I think that given everything else PTI is a much better option than any of the status quo parties, especially the two big family limited companies. Whatever it is PTI is giving people some hope.

I did notice that the October 30 jalsa had a national theme to it and this one was missing it a little bit. I guess in their defense this is so close to the election that they had to show their strength in any way possible and put PTI as a force and a face of change in Pakistan.

Man, you have to give credit to PTI and IK for getting the youth of Pakistan at least thinking about taking their future in their own hands instead of leaving it to the looters, oppressors and usurpers.

On a serious note mrk123 jee,
sad thing is that PPPP did something wonderful for Pk - decentralization of power to provinces. This issue is at the root of 80% of problems we are facing today (real issues, we can solve the economic mess sooner or later). Like I mentioned earlier (in another thread) for most of the people Pakistan is Urban Punjab, Sindh and KPK. What happens behind these urban centers does not even register.

With the quality of youth I see in this forum, I'd rather they kept on sleeping. And come on now with looters, usurpers and oppressors talk - here is an eye opening interview from Attaullah Mengal one of the most distinguished politicians of Baluchistan:

Oppressor, Status quo ??? is it the same leftist mrk123 or has he been taken over by a PTI doppelganger? Pakistan has some political Status-quo? When did that happen :P

Please pardon me for being a little blunt, which is the need of the moment in result of this thread.
1. Qadri did what no one in the world has done with people for five days.
2. Qadri did not betray people, rather the government betrayed Qadri AND 'THE PEOPLE' once again, so Qadri should be the last one to share the blame.
3. Qadri's Minar-e-Pakistan jalsa was bigger than IK jalsa of 23rd March.
4. Qadri has never said anything against Imran Khan in an explicit manner.
5. The whole world is saying about election commission what Qadri said in his stance in his speeches i.e. this election commission is the least credible & competent.
6. Your stance is hurting millions of potential voters/ followers of Qadri who are just about to vote IK as Qadri has boycotted elections.

1. He used and abused people knowing full well the outcome of that circus. (funny thing is that he did all that the END of Zardari tenure, like a month more would matter in scheme of things)
2. Qadri did betray his people, he used them for political point scoring (and the lottery draw that Army might interfere). He has been in politics long enough to know it full well his demands were laughable.
3. And JUI's Karachi jalsa was bigger then both. So?
4. Qadri can't - Both iK and Qadri are betting that they will attract each other's supporters (and may join hands - for example think of today's jalsa if Qadri had put his weight behind PTI)
5. Its not the whole world - Qadri and IK have taken part in far worse rigged elections under Musharraf. This Election commissioner is 10 times better and if you don't get it you should read about election history of PK.
6. True that, alienating any segment of society is bad policy for a political party
