Islam is a religion not a system, systems can be changed or improved but religion we believe in as original. I dont know why you want to put Religion in Democracy when this is not possible.
You always take the discussion from one direction to the other, Every Pakistani knows the objectives of making Pakistan.
There are three systems running in the world monarchy, dictatorship and democracy. A real democracy is the best one sofar if we compare the progress of different countries.

Actually I often support the west so you must have been reading someone else's comments. Islam is not compatible with your form of democracy where those who don't vote for anyone are ignored. Sir Iqbal wanted an Islamic system not your friggin' concept of democracy, had that not been the case there was no reason to form a Pakistan. You have no understanding of why Pak was formed, this is why we've always struggled having failed from your democracy to military rule, nothing fits us.

Islam is indeed a system in complete form. It is not a feel good religion like Buddhism but a complete way of living dealing with every structure in life from health issues, banking, medical and above all politics. By restricting it to religious practises you are undermining what the goal of "the deen" is. This tells me your depth of understand that is next to zero.

I have listened to Zaid Hamid many times and I have a fair idea so let's not waste time.

Khalifat-e-Rashida where Pakistan leads all Muslim nations. Where there is no banking interest or paper currency as seen in western countries. Where an attack on Istanbul is perceived as one on Islamabad...United States of Islam with common interests amongst Muslim nations. Open trade without borders, this is just for starters. IK speaks on none of these issues,

I can tell you that IK will never be the PM of Pakistan, no doubting his intelligence but he lacks the vision or understanding of what the nation's original purpose was.

He is more interested in maintaining his fan club in Bharat calling the Kashmir struggle for self determination a "misunderstanding" when it is clearly a dispute. IK just loves himself to much. In all his visits to Bharat IK has never raised the issue of their terrorism in Pakistan or the Kashmir one. He is to afraid and always on the defensive in front of the Bharatis.

For me and for every Muslim Islam is a religion and we want to practice it as in original form and I dont compare it with any system or any thing else.

Since the childhood when someone asked me. "What is your religion?" my answer is "Islam" and i thing every muslim has the same answer.
For you the question would be "What is your system?"

Rather when someone asks me what does Islam mean to you, I say it's a divine system or way of living. You obviously do not know the difference between religion and deen. Seems that you are still a child;)

I do give IK credit when he deserves it. If you "know that" then why did you ask me as to what Zaid Hamid wants Pakistan to be??. We need to build alliances with Muslim countries but before that have a clean government elected by the people. The biggest challenge we face is bringing in a new government who is pro-Pakistani.

We need to build alliances with Muslim countries but before that have a clean government elected by the people. The biggest challenge we face is bringing in a new government who is pro-Pakistani.

I just told you that elections need to take place again with old faces like Nawaz and Zardari even Musharraf disqualified. Only those who have a pan Islamic view should be allowed to participate. The new government should be given no more then a year to show positive results as opposed to the current 5 years.

I agree with IK that all must have their money and properties in Pakistan, this will prove their loyalty. Politicians are open to criticism that can not be avoided, it's part of the job. I like the Difa-e-Pakistan movement, don't know how it's progressing.
