I don't believe liberals are all bad people or agents and don't care about their religious views as it is personal but i have been shocked at their BLIND and BLANKET support of Nawaz Sharif. They may claim that they just support democracy and not Nawaz Sharif but if Nawaz Sharif is symbol of our democracy then we should all be ASHAMED.
Questions to all these custodians of democracy (since your entire focus is making Nawaz Sharif champion of democracy):
Has Nawaz Sharif paid for his pathetic attacks on democracy?
Has Nawaz Sharif changed after spending years in exile?
Did Nawaz Sharif pay the price for accepting money from ISI (Asghar Khan case)?
Did Nawaz Sharif pay the price for rigging the election in 2013 accepting all independents he is cursing today?
If sending corrupt Prime Minister home is such a crime then why Nawaz take pride in sending Gilani home?????
List of his crimes against democracy goes on......too many to list..............
As for Imran Khan, his priorities are TOTALLY different: (And no one said he is entirely an angel)
His focus is better Pakistan through:
- Reduced corruption
- Institutional reforms
- Reduction in poverty
- Local bodies empowerment, ending development funds for so called electables to reduce their hold)
- Green Pakistan
- Promoting tourism & building soft image of Pakistan
He needs power to do all that and has to make unfortunate compromises.
He is fighting with status quo
He is fighting with media houses
He is fighting with old system that took 70 years to build
He will fight with establishment when the time comes and can NEVER do that without getting to power. He could benefit from Nawaz Sharif's bad luck that stuck due to Panama leaks but establishment DID NOT create Panama leaks, they could have ensured Nawaz does not escape this time but corruption was indeed done and it was exposed by INTERNATIONAL organisation.
Army should do it's own job and should leave civilians to run Pakistan but people are stupid to think compromised leaders like Nawaz and Zardari will challenge so called establishment.
