According to me Hassan Nisar is an overrated intellectual!
Sometimes he's brilliant, I also think he's a very sincere Pakistani that's why he behaves like that, but overall he's a pessimist. He always looks down upon the achievements of our own people. He once ridiculed the idea of calling Iqbal 'Poet of the East' and said there were other poets in China and the rest of the East.
May I ask which other poet or intellectual (a) gave the idea of the very first idealogical state in the history of mankind and (b) based his poetry on a Holy Scripture (the Qur'an in Iqbal's case)?
