Admin Sahab, being a big fan of Iqbal I wanted to mention him as well. Didn't want to take any credit away from him. Also, the work of 99% population of this world can be improved. Every person can come up with something better as it's always easier to improve than to create the original matter. However, making changes takes away the originality. Hope it makes sense!

Further, didn't want to call the people in the picture Iblees directly. Iqbal ney shaairi ki, mey ney kuch comments un ki harkaton k barey mey likh di, I think it's a fair deal.

Iqbal is a great poet. More people read him out side Pakistan. Pakistanis are still are unaware of depth of Iqbal's poetry.

Why Iqbal Lahori is more popular in Iran than in Pakistan?
I have liked him since my early days. Iqbal (RA) is one of the most cherished personalities who have influenced us. He is one of the staunch lovers of Allah Almighty and Holy Prophet (SAWAW). His Persian poetry is even more touching and inspiring. May his soul rest in peace!

it is not just about overrated. i read iqbal poetry and i have great respect from his as a poet. i might not agree with his philosophy but he was master class in urdu and Persian literature. pakistanis started treating him like angel or something. he is just another poet like rabindranath tagore , kafi azmi , javed akhtar and harivanshrai bachchan for that matter. this is just not problem of pakistan but whole subcontinent. we start worshiping personality. for example we treat sachin as a god or made amitabh bachchan's temple.

it is not just about overrated. i read iqbal poetry and i have great respect from his as a poet. i might not agree with his philosophy but he was master class in urdu and Persian literature. pakistanis started treating him like angel or something. he is just another poet like rabindranath tagore , kafi azmi , javed akhtar and harivanshrai bachchan. this is just not problem of pakistan but whole subcontinent. we start worshiping personality. for example we treat sachin as a god or made amitabh bachchan temple.

then u havent understood iqbal at all! and nobody believes hes a god like indians believe amitabh and sachin is,

but we do believe Iqbal was God's very special creation!

According to me Hassan Nisar is an overrated intellectual!

Sometimes he's brilliant, I also think he's a very sincere Pakistani that's why he behaves like that, but overall he's a pessimist. He always looks down upon the achievements of our own people. He once ridiculed the idea of calling Iqbal 'Poet of the East' and said there were other poets in China and the rest of the East.

May I ask which other poet or intellectual (a) gave the idea of the very first idealogical state in the history of mankind and (b) based his poetry on a Holy Scripture (the Qur'an in Iqbal's case)?
