Which Muslim country has guts to confront Israel. What is that all the Muslim countries can do about it rather than hue and cry about it. Every issue has two sides to it.

Despite so many reminders, these guys went ahead risking so many life’s, that’s ridicules and also they know that Israel will not hesitate a bit in taking action on it.

This is called Suicide.

Nobody is against the aid that should be given to Palestine people but there is a diplomatic and international channels to go about it.

I hope finally sense prevails and things are sorted out.

This world would not see any peace until and unless we develop a sense of justice and morality and condemn the deaths of innocent people and rise about our personal, regional or religious prejudices. Blaming the Humanitarians who were trying to help INNOCENT PEOPLE who cannot get food, medicine or water because of ILLEGAL blockage by Israel clearly indicates the injustice and biased nature of a corrupt soul.

Everyone talks about individual acts and these generate huge reactions from people like you. No one talks about the state terrorism of Israel. Until and unless, these double standards are addressed and people like you start to raise the basic questions that who gave Israel the right to launch the terrorist activities against Gaza people? And why Israel has the liberty and luxury to attack Humanitarian aid on INTERNATIONAL WATER? I assure you, peace will remain a dream and eventually this fire would reach your home too, sooner or later, its just a matter of time. So, for your sake only, try to be honest, sympathetic and just in your analysis.

Can ISRAEL kill anyone? Answer is YES

Given the nonchalance with which the Israeli military sheds civilian blood regularly as a matter of policy, one shouldn’t be shocked by the grim drama that rocked the ships carrying aid and relief workers to the Gaza Strip on Monday morning. Israeli forces boarded the vessels and killed a number of passengers, even though the flotilla carried nothing but relief goods.

While Turkey condemned the cold-blooded murder on board and said Israel would have to “endure the consequences” of this crime, all an Israeli minister could do was to utter regrets. The angry reaction by Greta Berlin, spokeswoman for the Free Gaza Movement, which had organised the aid flotilla, was telling: “Do they think because they can attack Palestinians indiscriminately, they can attack anyone?” Yes, Israel can attack anyone — and get away with it. It has murdered several UN peacekeepers, western aid workers and journalists, and American student Rachel Corrie died when an Israeli bulldozer flattened her. The crime has largely remained unknown to the American public.

Save condemnations from around the world, one can reasonably be sure Israel will face no material consequences for this brutality on the seas. Already, America has assured Israel that the recently held nuclear disarmament conference will not jeopardise Tel Aviv’s security interests.
With the ‘proximity talks’ having ended in a deadlock, the invitation to Mr Netanyahu merely means an American carte blanche to the Likud leader for his intransigence on new settlements. The 2004 Gaza ‘disengagement’ trumpeted by Ariel Sharon was a big fraud, and the Mediterranean strip has continued for all practical purposes to be occupied territory. Gaza is a humanitarian disaster, for the 15,000 tonnes of goods which Tel Aviv allows are, according to the United Nations, a quarter of what the Gazans need. The world must wake up to their plight.

Navi Pillay, the United Nations' human rights chief, called the blockade devastating in an August 2009 report. Pillay said it constituted collective punishment, illegal under international law.

'Luxury goods' - things like chocolate - are prohibited altogether. But much of what is banned is hardly luxurious. Medical goods are in short supply.
Fuel, too, is heavily restricted, with many Gaza residents facing hours of power cuts each day.

All of this creates a scenario in which, according to Amnesty International's latest annual report, Gaza's 1.5 million inhabitants are 'cut off... from the rest of the world'. Amnesty concluded that four out of five Gazans - 80 per cent of the population - depend on external aid to survive."

Which Nation is a Threat to World Peace?
March 2007, the Iranian Navy seized 15 British servicemen who had strayed into their waters. For all the Iranians knew they were up to no good, planting mines or something.
Not a shot was fired, and shortly all were released by order of Iran’s leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Today, the Israelis murdered 19 innocent civilians on a flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza in an unprovoked attack.
The ships had men, women and children on board. The participants included journalists, EU parliamentarians, and even a Nobel prize winner. They were simply seeking to lift the inhuman blockade of Gaza, which is essentially strangling the people there.
Which of these nations, Iran or Israel, is a threat to world peace?

UN Council condemns deaths on Gaza flotilla

608x325.jpg

UNITED NATIONS: The UN Security Council on Tuesday condemned acts that caused the deaths of civilians during an Israeli operation against an aid flotilla heading for Gaza and called for an impartial investigation.

In a carefully crafted formal statement adopted after more than 10 hours of closed-door negotiations and which quickly gave rise to conflicting interpretations, the council requested the immediate release of ships and civilians held by Israel.

Israeli marines on Monday stormed a Turkish aid ship bound for Gaza, a Palestinian enclave controlled by Hamas and blockaded by Israel, and detained some 700 people aboard.

The incident, in which the Israeli military said at least nine pro-Palestinian activists were killed, sparked widespread condemnation.

The 24-line statement, read to the 15-nation council by its president, Ambassador Claude Heller of Mexico, said the body deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries resulting from the use of force during the Israeli military operation in international waters against the convoy sailing to Gaza.

The Council, in this context, condemns those acts which resulted in the loss of at least 10 civilians and many wounded, it added. Council statements carry less weight than resolutions, but unlike them have to be unanimous.

Diplomats said that in tortuous negotiations between Turkey which had brought the matter before an emergency session of the council along with Lebanon and Israels ally the United States, argument had raged over whether the word act should be singular or plural.

Act, supported by Turkey, would have implied that Israel alone was responsible for the deaths, while acts suggested that the activists, who Israel said attacked its commandos, also bore some responsibility.

Independent Or Impartial

The council statement, adopted in the small hours of Tuesday morning, also called for a prompt, impartial, credible and transparent investigation conforming to international standards.

Diplomats said the word independent had been dropped from early drafts of the statement at US insistence because it suggested that the investigation should not be carried out by Israel itself.

But, speaking to journalists after the statement was adopted, Heller said impartial meant the same as independent and that the United Nations should determine who would carry out the investigation.

US Deputy Ambassador Alejandro Wolff disagreed. We support an Israeli investigation and have every confidence that Israel can conduct a credible and impartial, transparent, prompt investigation internally, he told reporters.

Earlier, during a 90-minute public meeting of the council, many speakers criticized Israels action and said it was time for Israels three-year-old blockade of Gaza to be lifted.

This is tantamount to banditry and piracy, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told the council. It is murder conducted by a state. Most of those who died in the incident were Turks, according to one senior Israeli officer.

Wolff criticized the attempt by the flotilla organizers to run Israels blockade of Gaza. Direct delivery (of aid) by sea is neither appropriate nor responsible and certainly not effective under the circumstances, he said.

Israels deputy ambassador, Daniel Carmon, told the council the flotilla was anything but a humanitarian mission. Its organizers cynically used the guise of humanitarian aid to send a message of hate and to implement violence, he said.

The organizers, some of whom he said were linked to terrorist organizations, had forced Israel to launch its operation, which had been intended as a preventive measure to counter illegal breakage of the blockade, Carmon said.

British Ambassador Mark Lyall Grant said there was an unambiguous need for Israel to act with restraint and called the blockade of Gaza unacceptable and counterproductive. Reuters

Dont get carried away.
The Turks were about to do military exercises in collaboration with Israel. They are one of the few Muslim states with official links with Israel and do trade and have military and diplomatic ties. Just because they have come out and said a few tough things doesn't change the fact that they are still allied with Israel.
Moving a few aircrafts here and there doesnt change anything on the ground. Turkey is dying to get into the EU and will not get too tough on Israel for fear of losing out on the opportunity of getting membership.

But 1 billion Muslims just sit and curse Israel, where is your unity, Year after year Israel attacks you and you look on and curse hoping that by cursing you will achieve something. I hope for two country solution, Israel and Palestine living in peace side by side.

Salam. I may disagree to sis nepali on above post, but the points she has raised , what actually is happening. the muslim ummah is united on many occassion but all our muslim countries leaders are hypocrites & cowards. They dont have courage to fight for their own people & more for whole muslim ummah. We can say what ever we like , for example ISRAEL will be drowned if all muslims shits on her, Israel is weaker than spider web... These are just mere words to get public attention. This act is disgrace for all muslims countries, if they dont act positively this time, & forget as more henious crimes have gone passed in history, then ALLAH knows more disgrace will come to muslim nations.. Sorry it will hurt many muslim brothers & sisters but this is truth.
I think all indian members & Nepali sister while saying all this should have comdemned this henious act also, because truth always prevails how small it is.. Defending it blindly will not help u in your cause of preaching PEACE & TRUTH & HARMONY etc, if u really think u want to do this..
About ZAID HAMID sahab, she is again right, he should have left example for the soladarity of muslim cause or even humanitarian cause, by going with talat & others. By just making interviews on tv & posting on facebook it is same what our govt is doing right now..
I have seen GEORGE GALLOWAY, he is british parliamentarian & christian, he led the prev convoy of aid to Gaza.. VEVA PALESTINA.. May ALLAH give hidayat to him, great man even fights in parliament for gaza, pakistan & many muslim events..
About
If hammas & hisbullah can defeat powerful israel army with compared to less technological weapons, we can defeat israel or make it to our terms.. But we dont have unity, EGYPT & JORDAN are helping israel to make that siege work.. Why egypt & jordanian muslims say about it, in pakistan, even we say against our govt, our media is against our govt policies..
Shame on us. Again forgive me for this, as i am included in this lot making words & words only.. No action.. Looking for a wave to come so that i can ride it & do my part. WALLAH ALAM. ALLAH HUMMAGHFIRLEE..
