The indians usually quote that the population of hindus has shrunk in Pakistan.

They dont think that it is because of the riots of 1947 majority of hindus and sikhs migrated from pakistan to India and their percentage shrunk in punjab.Other provinces inhabited by minorities were east bengal and sind.Bengal get independence and sind has almost the same portion of hindus.

Further if you note that Indian states bordering Pakistan have a very nominal muslim population i.e., they also migrated to pakistan.Only central provinces of India has substantial muslim pakistan like UP CP etc.,
