I am living in UAE since 2005 and I have also visited Saudia Arabia. I have never seen any Arab praying with shoes. If you are talking about Saudi Arabia, there are not arabs only, people come there from all over the world. You can't blame arabs for other peoples actions.

It was an honest mistake, they didnt do it to disobey Allah, they did it by mistake. Good thing is they corrected themselves as soon as they relaized it.

They are better muslims then those who persist with thier mistakes even after they are told about them.

i would suggest you to do some research..specially tribal system and politics around and after first world war and then comment please.

Brother, I live in Riyadh, KSA and I've seen a few times, when Saudi, specially soldiers in their uniform, they come and pray with their shoes on. About the Saudi's casual style of praying and other thing... they dont' have many restrictions like as in Fiqah-e-Ahnaaf (Hanafi). But we can't blame them, as they following it, what about us? Do we close our markets or social activities after Azaan ? What every you say to it.. but it is being followed.

I am not blaming anyone, just sharing what I saw.
I had read about it in the books before but now I saw it with my own eyes here in Mississauga. They might be from Lebnon or Egypt, but I am not sure.
