It’s not twisting and tweaking the line of argument or logic per se. It’s calling a spade a bloody spade. As far as your last line is concerned then I fully support that notion of yours and has consistently favoured for that sort of corrective actions with regards to this Blasphemy Law in Pakistan.

Salman Taseer has that coming and rightly so because who has given him that monarchic right to immediately halt the process of police investigation and judicial proceedings against that alleged blasphemer (Aasia bibi who by the way admitted her crime in front of her own community of notables in her village according to some credible sources of media)? In the 63 three year plus history of Pakistan not even a single alleged blasphemer has been convicted and punished by the higher courts.

Yes the performance of our lower judiciary and criminal investigation process of our police in Pakistan, holistically speaking, are corrosive and substandard in nature there’s no denying of this fact and only because of their incompetent and criminal negligence the unscrupulous lot of this unfortunate country do use such tools to manipulate and misuse every law of Pakistan which is delineated in its constitution and penal code manuals.

If Blasphemy Law or for instance any law in Pakistan has any procedural and substantial flaws in its structure then it’s the onus of legislature and its executive machinery to rectify them. Repealing them or discarding them is not a solution but in fact it has the incandescent potentiality to blow out of proportion the small example of which we have witnessed today on the street of a capital city.

It is to noted here that the famous case of a great martyr Ghazi Ilm Din Shaheed also bore some semblances with today’s incident when the same sort of legal apertures dastardly acquitted the blasphemer Raj Pal in the post era of 1923 which eventually resulted in communal disharmony and extreme restlessness among the Muslims of British India for obvious reasons and thus resulted in the murder of Raj Pal in September 1929 at the hands of Ghazi Shaheed. If the rights of blasphemers are important to be safeguarded then the feelings of a vast majority of conservative lovers of Rasool pbuh are also needed to be acknowledged and insulated.

By the way how many alleged innocent prisoners and convicts of Pakistan have been personally approached leave alone providing them the proper legal assistance to defend their offences charged by the trail of wrong and doctored evidences, professional criminal witnesses and procedural mishandlings of their concerned cases by this scum Salman Taseer and his like minded shameless and hypocrite members of hedonistic liberalism and Islamophobe bandwagon groups, plus not to forget the plight of other innocent abductees as well in this country, who have still not been presented in front of any courts of law by their abductor secret agencies and American mercenaries?

Im not a fan of Salman Taseer or his choice of words however I do not support the notion that he was rightfully killed.
If you support it then you should also support the self appointed courts of the Taliban.
Salman Taseer as far as I know only asked for a pardon for Asia Bibi. It was not granted as far as I know. The case is probably still on going. So essentially he did not achieve what he set out to achieve. Why then did he have to be assassinated?
He FAILED at getting a pardon and he certainly didnt get the laws REPEALED.
So what makes him a blasphemer?
Maybe he genuinely believed that Asia bibi was not guilty. Does that still make him a blasphemer?

Again if you believe that its okay for someone to be judge and jury himself then you should never condemn America for what its doing to us.

FYI: Salman Taseers father M.D. Taseer was the person who arranged for the funeral procession of Ghazi Ilm Deen Shaheed.

Imran Khan, expressed sorrow and shock at the murder of governor Punjab

ISLAMABAD (Jan 4) PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, expressed sorrow and shock at the murder of governor Punjab, Salman Taseer. This tragic incident reflects the total destruction of law and order in the country and the sheer inability of the present inept and corrupt government to maintain the authority of the state and protect state functionaries. It is a sad day for the nation when political leaders are targetted as this reflects the dangerous level of intolerance and polarization that has pervaded Pakistani society. Imran has called upon all national political leaders to rise above political differences and sit together to devise a viable strategy to extricate the country from US led War on Terror which is pushing Pakistan on unstopable and suicidal path of rising extremism. He expressed his deep felt condolences to the family of the governor and prayed that Allah would give them the strength to bear this tragic loss.

Those fanatics who claim to support PTI should cease their support for IK. If you do not agree with this then kindly leave and join some extremist group and blow yourselves away in smoke. No fanatics needed in PTI.

PS:- I am a PTI member.

Dear

I can suggest you 3 things to do (if possibe for you): -

- Study Islam (instead of getting inpirations from semi educated mullahs only)
- Study Allama Iqbal, His articles
- Grow up

Regards

Thank for your suggestion..........I will also give only one suggestion.

Just Grow up

I have enough knowledge and understanding of Islam for pass my 24 hours life. And I have studied very well the philosophy of Iqbal.

Plus study is not enough only, Islam need acts as well, otherwise Asma Jehangir and Dr Mubarak like peoples are more knowledgeable but their acts are the acts of Shaitans.......Now what about you.....

He was very persistent in his stance and was very sure that Zardari would pardon Mrs Asia because he had requested himself to Zardari for this. He called Blasphemous Law as Black Law as well .....

And by it was not his choice to feel that Asia was guilty or not. It was about the law and Asia had admitted in front of many peoples and before the court as well that she had commit this SIN and it was her Mistake.....

By the way it is not the Law which is bad, it is its use which makes it bad and there are many other laws in Pakistan which are misused e.g. the 302 but nobody has raised the voice that this law should be vanished.(Though the so called Human Right Activists like Asma Jehangir wants death penalty should be finished, but again it would be misused for life imprisonment as well)...

There must be such Laws, otherwise masses would kill the "accused" persons and these are Laws and rules which differentiate between A Jungle and Human Societies.

By the way Yousaf Raza Gilani's father was also a poise and honest person and what is his son and his rest of family doing? So everyone is responsible for this own Aamaals.

Calling it a black law does not mean he was committing blasphemy. According to the law only if you invoke the name of a religious entity and directly insult them, then it is blasphemy.

This shows Pakistan is heading toward chaos and lawlessness. Intolerance and terrorism is rampant in the society clearly seen in Target Killings in Karachi. If we encourage it or don’t do anything to stop it, then there is no need to attack Pakistan. It will die its own death. If you kill your leaders in judicial murders, then there is no arguements in taking jurry or justice in your own hands. Now most Pakistanis have started enjoying terrorism by encouraging such fanatics.

I am sorry I didn’t want to be indulged into any kind of knowledge proving debate because it’s very easy for anyone to judge any person’s maturity level and knowledge by just reading all the previous posts of that person, posted on this forum. I don't want to comment more on that

Do you know what is meant by Black Law? Why did he Called it as Black Law? He called it Black Law because he was against such law and wanted there shouldn't be such laws in there country and anybody, whatever he/she want should say about the Prophets (PBUH)....

I have question for you... Do you know why this Law was made in the era of Zia (Basically this law was made by the Imperial forces after the incident of Ghazi Ilmuddin Shaheed which then amended by Zia & then N Sharif in 1990) because people like Asma Jehangir etc. were mockering the personalities of Prophets (PBUT) especially Muhammad (PBUH) openly.... So such law was necessary at that time which could control the masses, otherwise law and & order situation could be raised....

But peoples like you are against such law... I was reading your other post about Blasphemy law i.e.

Because you are a blind lakeer-ka-faqeer you did not see in my posts that I have said I am AGAINST repealing of blasphemy law as I feel it is necessary for religious figures to be given sanctity. I am only for amendments to make it less abusive in the hands of vested interests.
