Breaking News: Etihad airways has started offering 96 hours Transit Visa upon arrival for Canadian Citizen.

Folks I have got this news from very reliable source. Will update this thread with accurate terms & conditions, once will get this information in writing from Etihad Airways by tomorrow.

United Arab Emirates.

Eithad Airways flies through Abu Dhabi, those who travel to Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc etc Transit through Abu Dhabi, while travelling to their respective countries, Since January 2011 U.A.E government had imposed Visa in advance restrictions for Canadians. Now Etihad airways have launched this facility to compensate their travelers.

He means that if passenger is flying from Canada to Pakistan, Itehad airline will arrange his 3 day transit visa of UAE. It means passenger can stay in UAE for 3 days if there is some delay in his next flight to Pakistan.

According to their website, for 96 hours transit visa you need confirmed hotel reservation and a list of documents.

It is better to travel by Turkish air line , cheep too and no visa required for Canadian passport... I am not sure for Pakistani passport.

Tak a visit in Turkey too ..

Lots of Islamic history is there and Tirk people are nice too , when they know about Pakistanies.

I dont like to go to Dubai now any more. They r just arrogant people.

They are charging 75 $ for single entry...and it is only for Canadian Passport.
