The other day I was in a hospital and there was a veitnam war veteran sitting along side me...Another guy was talking to him...And he asked the veteran what he was doing? He said "I used to be a marine" and the guy who asked him the question said" You are a hero" . and I was shocked by what the veteran said.His reply was "Hero for who and in whose eyes"? The guy who said you are a hero was speechless and had no answer for it...
He then said ,we didn't want to go to war.we were forced to go and we had no option.Then he told the stories of how innocent people were targeted and nobody knew who is the enemy and who is innocent.
