Following are some of the statistical highlights of MQM's performance in KPK. Please note that this party was formed in 1984 and has been in power for much of its life, especially the last 10 years.
All of us have seen MQM mouthpieces going wild with their claims that Altaf's 'falsafa' was spreading like fire in Pakistan. From the results above, it seems that this 'falsafa' is nothing but bad odor that has been rejected across Pakistan AND much of Karachi as well, but for blatant rigging.
For the genuine Urdu speaking who still support MQM, for how long would you like to be associated with a (half-city wide) party of few (genuine) seats that has repeatedly used your good name, issues, sacrifices and wealth to promote the agenda of its lunatic leader?
For the MQM mouthpieces, what happened to the epidemic called Altaf's 'falsafa'?

P.S. The picture looks even worse in Punjab.
- MQM fielded candidates in 18 out of the 35 NA seats of KPK. Every single candidate lost his election deposit (known commonly as zamanat zabt hona).
- MQM candidate Bashir Afridi bhai received 117 votes in NA-1, roughly 772 times less than Chairman PTI.
- MQM received a total of 6300 votes in the entire KPK. This is roughly 3 times less than the smallest number of votes a winning candidate received.
- None of the candidates could beat the psychological barrier of 1000 votes. Haq parast Mohsin Badshah bhai top scored with 740 votes in NA 29.
- NA-22 had the lowest support for MQM with only 27 votes for its candidate Abdul Haq Torkhel bhai.
- On average, a haq parast candidate received 350 votes.
- In the final analysis, MQM received 0.1% of the total votes polled in KPK.
