In the end, it all depends upon the number of ICU beds, ventilators and well trained doctors and nurses for ICUs and some kind of medical specialists.
This is a battle between the disease and doctors. Until now the world has failed in this - even those countries with best of the health facilities have been short and are forced for rationing healthcare.
Pakistan is at the bottom of health-infrastructure resulting from lack of funding from decades. It is not that you would buy masks, ppe, testing and ventilators in hurry but trained nurses and doctors are acutely needed when it comes to saving lives of the critical patients. Unfortunately, our health staff is not trained up for that task simply because we have a small number of ICU beds. Unfortunately our ICUs are already full to capacity to take care of already admitted patients.
