It's a little unfair to call Iran a "democracy" but at least it has a system that doesn't compromise on financial misdemeanors be those by anyone in any position of power. Even Saudi had some remarkable success in extracting loots from the corrupt in high places. But democracies, as appealing as they maybe, usually has a very high failure rate in the third-world!
